After a playful teasing in the bedroom, Jason scooped up Estrella and carried her

At the mention of the Maserati, Estrella tensed up.
Bryce continued, “The owner's a gal named Rebecca, 24 years old.”
Estrella inquired, “Any connection to the Ledford family?”
“You're on the ball, Estrella. Did you look into it? This Rebecca turns out to be a
distant relative of the Ledfords. She went abroad four years ago and only
recently returned.”

resemblance was uncanny, and the Ledford connection was intriguing.
Bryce reassured her, “Alright then. Just call me if you need anything.”
Over the years, Bryce had always been there for Estrella, true to his word that
she was his top priority.
After she hung up with Bryce, Jason emerged from the bathroom, noticing
Estrella put down her phone. As he dried his hair, he glanced at her with a mix of
suspicion and

Their eyes met and Estrella snapped, “It was Bryce.”
Jason tossed the towel aside, remarking on her fiery temper. He pulled her into

mouth.
Estrella scoffed. Before she could say another word, Jason's lips were on hers.
After their kiss, Estrella slipped out of his embrace and under the covers, eager
for sleep.
Jason joined her in bed, enveloping her in his arms. As Estrella nestled against
him, she couldn't help but think back to the night's revelation at the karaoke bar,
and the mysterious figure that lingered in her mind.
Jason, sensing her distraction, squeezed her waist, “What's on your mind?"
Estrella snuggled closer, “Nothing,” and with that, she closed her eyes to sleep.
The next morning, Estrella was woken by the vibration of her phone. Jason was
already gone from her side.
It was Bryce calling. Estrella answered with a groggy “Hello?”
“Estrella, I need a bailout. Jason is making me go to the office. You gotta come
save me.”
She replied lazily, “He won't bite. Just tough it out.”
Bryce pleaded, “You gotta help me.”
As Bryce whined, Drew snatched the phone away, “Mr. Bryce, Mr. Jason is
waiting for you.”

“Help me out here, will ya?”
Drew then knocked on Jason's office door, “Mr Jason, Mr. Bryce is here.”
At the desk, Jason glanced up at Bryce, disinterestedly saying, “Is the paperwork
for Velvet Voices KTV sorted? Once it is, Bryce can start managing the place.”
Bryce’s confusion turned to shock as he asked, “What's this all about?”
Drew explained, “Mr. Jason just bought the Velvet Voices karaoke club. You'll be
running the place, overseeing the staff and managing gigs. He said the club's
performance better double under your watch, or you'll be off to build another
school.”
Bryce was flabbergasted, “How could you make me do something like a pimp?”
Jason chuckled with a mischievous glint in his eye. Without so much as a glance
at Bryce, Jason commanded, “Drew, escort Bryce to report to Velvet Voices
KTV."
“Right away, Mr. Jason.” Drew nodded, turning to Bryce with a courteous, “This
way please.”
“Jason, you can't do this to me. How's Ella gonna look at me if I do this?"
“Jason, Jason!”
Bryce’s pleas fell on deaf ears. Jason ignored him completely, signaling Drew to
take Bryce off to the club.
