Chapter 61
Estrella lazily said, “After that last case closed, he took me out for dinner. Had his
secretary by his side, so it wasn't exactly a private affair.”
Jason's hands pressed firmly along her spine, don't care if his secretary was
there or not. Just keep your distance from him.”
As he spoke, Jason deliberately intensified his pressure.
“Ouch, take it easy, Jason,” Estrella protested, squirming under his touch. “I'll
keep my distance, sure, but it depends on how well you treat me tonight. If you
make tonight worthwhile, I'm all yours from now on; but if not, I can’t promise my
heart won't wander.”
Thwack! As soon as Estrella finished her sentence, another resounding slap
landed on her
backside.
“Go easy,” she reminded him. Without looking, she knew there would be the
imprint of his fingers.
After their brief exchange, silence fell again. Jason's hands moved lower, to the
small of her back, prompting Estrella to remind him with closed eyes, “Lower, a
bit lower.”
Jason glanced up at her and continued his descent.
“A bit lower,” she insisted again.
Jason increased the pressure of his hands and looked at her face, suspecting
that Estrella was doing it on purpose. After kneading her for a moment, his
fingers trailed along the edge of her panties.
The next second, Estrella tensed up, and Jason, observing her reaction, leaned
in close to her ear, “Should I go lower? Do you want me to enter?”
She had only meant to tease him a little, knowing that Jason tended to get all
bashful whenever she got shameless. She hadn't expected him to turn the tables
on her this time. Estrella opened her eyes, feigning composure as if nothing had
happened, but Jason. added, “Estrella, your face is as red as a beetroot.”
With that, his hand moved decisively.
Estrella caught her breath, grabbing his hand, “Jason, you damn...”
He didn’t pull away, a smirk playing on his lips, “I'm just getting started with the

She had thought he was clueless, but he turned out to be quite the expert. As
Estrella pondered how to regain the upper hand, Jason cut to the chase with a

On the bed, Estrella lay in disarray, her underwear still on but looking thoroughly

Estrella had resisted, but it was only when Jason got serious that she realized
the stark disparity in strength between men and women-something she had
underestimated before. Turned out he was just playing with her before.
Jason flung his pajama top to the floor, and Estrella quickly wrapped herself
tightly in the thin quilt, “I'm spent for today. Let's continue tomorrow.”
Jason's expression darkened, “So you're done after your fun?” He leaned down,
pinching
her chin.
Estrella held the quilt tight, “I said tomorrow, and it will be tomorrow.”
The foreplay had left Estrella a bit intimidated, and she could tell Jason was
still irritated about her meal with Korey. He was definitely messing with her. So, of
course, she gave in, tired as she was.
Jason chuckled in disbelief, still holding her chin, “Estrella, are you playing me?”
Holding onto the quilt, she claimed, “I think your nail might have scratched me.
Let me rest
a bit.”
At the mention of a scratch, Jason's concern flared, tugging at the quilt, “Let it go,
and let
me see.”
Instead of loosening her grip, Estrella wrapped herself even tighter, “No need to
look. I know my own body. I'll make it up to you tomorrow, with interest.”
Jason stood bare-chested, staring at Estrella for a moment before kicking her
lightly, “Dammit, Estrella, you're playing me for the foreplay, aren't you?”
Estrella, still cocooned in the quilt, couldn't bother to open her eyes. Seriously?

Their recent argument, along with the increased frequency of their fights, seemed
to have shaken her resolve. Was she still sure she wanted children? And who
knew what tomorrow would bring? Perhaps he'd wake up to find several

“Estrella!” Jason's voice resounded above her.
Estrella took a deep breath, playing asleep convincingly.
Jason huffed, irritation flashing across his face. He bent down to pick up the
discarded robe, slipping it back over his head as he spat, Estrella, don't try this
trick again. Also, don’t ever mention wanting kids again.”

Estrella remained motionless, eyes still closed. When she felt like having
children, she would bring it up again.
And besides, he still had his hands. That time in the old house, he had ingested a
dose of aphrodisiacs and had relieved himself in the bathroom without even
touching her. This time, he could do the same!
She usually didn’t hold grudges, but when she did, she was sure to seek
revenge.
The next morning, Estrella woke up to find Jason had already left, as usual.
Heading downstairs for breakfast, Marie whispered, “Ms. Estrella, did you and
Mr. Jason fight. again last night? He seemed quite upset when he left this
morning, and didn’t even touch his breakfast.”
Estrella replied with airy nonchalance, “I just swindled him a bit.”
The ways of the young were beyond Marie's understanding.
Jason's foreplay had ensured Estrella slept soundly throughout the night, not
even a dream to disturb her rest. It made her see him in a new light.
She had expected him to be a bore, to charge ahead in bed without a thought for
her pleasure, but he was surprisingly skillful, far exceeding her expectations. But
whether he would live up to the test when it came to the real deal remained to be
seen.
Upon seeing Estrella’s radiant expression, Marie said, “Ms. Estrella, you seem in
quite a good mood today.”
Estrella responded with a simple, “Not bad.”
