“Yes?” Rachel looked up at Old Mr. Johnson.
Old Mr. Johnson’s clouded eyes were clearer than ever. He put away his usual kindness and peace and looked at her seriously.

Rachel pursed her lips and silently put down the glass of water in her hand.
