Billionaire’s Unseen Love (Bella and Alex)

84 The Return of the Twins: A Grand Soirée
The Sinirnoffs‘ grand estate buzzed with anticipation. Desmond and Viola, the accomplished fraternal twins, had finally returned
from their overseas endeavors, eager to mark their homecoming with a lavish masquerade ball, Emma, usually composed and
reserved, couldn’t help but feel a twinge of excitement, albeit mixed with a hint of reluctance. Bonnie, on the other hand,
displayed her typical nonchalance, barely concealing her lack of enthusiasm.
Maryann, however, was brimming with excitement. “This party is just what I need! Being in the public eye constantly, I’ve missed
the freedom of just letting loose. A night of mystery and fun – what could be better ?” Her eyes sparkled with the thought of an
evening free from the prying eyes of her
fans.
Jada, ever the voice of reason, raised a concern. “But Maryann, don’t you think attending such a party might risk revealing your
identity? In this age of social media, it won’t take much for someone to recognize you
Maryann’s excitement dimmed slightly as she pondered the potential consequences. Her fame had become a gilded cage,
restricting her freedom in ways she hadn’t imagined.
Viola, quick to offer a solution, produced an ornate mask from her bag. “Why worry so much? It’s a masquerade! We’ll all be
hidden behind masks, free to enjoy the night without the burden of our
identities.”
The idea of anonymity reignited Maryann’s enthusiasm. “That’s brilliant, Viola! We can all have fun without worrying about being
recognized.”

Emma watched the exchange, her thoughts interrupted by a call from the office. She stepped away, her presence receding into
the background as she dealt with work matters.
In her absence, Desmond’s gaze lingered on the spot where Emma stood moments ago. His heart was heavy with unspoken
feelings. “If only I’d been braver three years ago. Maybe things would’ve been different,” he mused, regret coloring his voice.
Returning to the conversation, Emma found the group buzzing with plans for the masquerade ball. Maryann and Viola were
animatedly discussing the theme and decorations, while Jada was already envisioning the perfect outfit.
Desmond, seizing the opportunity, turned to Emma. “Emma, is there anyone special you’d like to invite? The more, the merrier,
after all.”
Emma considered for a moment before replying. “I can’t think of anyone in particular. The party will be wonderful with just us. But
feel free to invite whoever you wish.”
Desmond nodded, a secretive smile playing on his lips. “Then leave the invitations to me. I’ll ensure it’s an unforgettable
evening.”
As the plans for the masquerade ball took shape, the Smirnoffs‘ mansion hummed with excitement. The twins‘ return had
rekindled a sense of unity and celebration within the family. For one night,

they could cast aside their public personas and revel in the joy of anonymity, surrounded by the warmth of family and the thrill of
a well–planned masquerade.
