Big Novel

El General Todopoderoso de Dragón

Fitch swore he’d never been so embarrassed in his lifetime. He tried explaining to Ian over and over that it was just a statue, but
Ian wouldn’t listen.
Left with no choice, a tow truck brought Ian and the statue back to Greenfield Gardens together. Ian even cuddled the statue to
sleep that night.
Fitch couldn’t bear to stay and watch him any longer. Phelps was also worn out by the whole ordeal. They left Jeff to keep an eye
on Ian and took off.
The next morning, Ian woke up feeling uncomfortable, as if he’d been weighed down all night.
When he lifted his head, he found himself clutching a hard object. He froze.
He tossed the statue aside, feeling as if someone was trying to harm him. Why else would they use such a heavy statue to crush
him? He was nearly suffocated.
He took a deep breath, feeling sore all over.
“Jeff.”
He called out, and Jeff, who had been stationed at the door, listening for any sounds from inside, quickly entered.
“Mr. Raymond.”
“What’s with the statue?”
“Mr. Raymond, you got drunk at the BlueSky Bar last night and insisted on bringing it home.”
Jeff tactfully omitted the part where Ian had mistaken the statue for Maja, sparing him some embarrassment.
Ian couldn’t recall what he had done, thinking he must have had a wild night, even though he never usually did.
He rubbed his shoulder, which felt so sore that he could barely move it.
As he sluggishly made his way to freshen up, the memory of calling out to the statue began to surface in his mind.
His hand, holding his toothbrush, froze, and he frowned.

After freshening up, he recalled the image of him lamenting over Maja’s heartlessness.
Ian felt hot all over, utterly humiliated.
“Jeff, have the statue returned.”
Jeff had just finished a phone call, “Mr. Raymond, they said they purchased a new one overnight. If you like it, you can keep it.”
Ian was instantly irritated, “I don’t like it!”
Jeff quickly made a call to have the statue returned.
As soon as Ian arrived at the Raymond Corporation, Fitch gave him a call.
“Are you still holding onto that statue?”
In a rare mocking tone from Fitch, Ian promptly hung up.
Immediately after, Phelps made a call.
“Slept with a statue, huh? If you’re not feeling well, I can give you a free check-up today.”
Ian had no idea Phelps could be so snide!
He hung up again!
Ian wished he could go back in time and slap his embarrassing self awake.
Then, he opened Twitter and saw more news about Shawn, still tagged with the same keyword.
——Shawn’s gaze was not pure.
The comments had passed a million, given that Shawn had won the Best Actor award the previous night, his popularity was sky-
high.
Netizens were still digging into the woman’s background, but they found nothing.
Until someone spilled the beans that it was Maja, the CEO of Star Movie group.
Thus, netizens began to mock and ridicule under this piece of news.

[You must be Maja’s sock puppet, stop glorifying yourself.]
[Somebody already posted that picture before. That fat woman is cruel-hearted too. I hope Shawn stays far away from her and
doesn’t fall prey to her.]
[Somebody messaged Maja with that picture, she didn’t even reply, it must be true.]
The internet was in uproar, and the trend about Maja pestering Ian had disappeared, presumably due to its declining popularity.
Ian lifted his head, looking at Jeff.
“Get that trend back up.”
Jeff was shocked, then nodded and immediately left.
Within ten minutes, the trend about Maja pestering Ian was back, this time Maja was criticized even more harshly.
Ian didn’t care anymore, instead staring blankly at the documents in front of him.
On the other side, Maja also saw the trend being brought back up. But strange, it wasn’t her company’s doing this time, who
bought it?
Regardless of who it was, they unwittingly helped her.
The higher her popularity, the more intense the criticism, the bigger the contrast when her identity was eventually revealed.
For the next half a month, she and Ian didn’t meet or call each other.
But rumors in the industry claimed that Ian was at the hospital with Judith.
Maja didn’t deliberately inquire about it, until Cornelia returned to Greenfield.
