El General Todopoderoso de Dragón

Angela explained, “I initially planned to call Cathy and have a meal together, but she appeared uneasy. She kept mentioning a
headache that didn’t go away even after resting in the dormitory for a long time. So I asked Michelle to accompany her back.”
Jagoan was taken aback by this revelation and suddenly realized that the reason behind Maria’s headache was likely due to him
injecting an excessive amount of reiki into her brain earlier that day. He had also used too much psychological suggestion.
He had given her the reiki because he felt something peculiar about her and was afraid that there might be something wrong.
Reflecting on it now, he realized that injecting such a significant amount of aura into the brain of an eighteen-year-old girl must
have caused considerable harm to her body, resulting in prolonged headaches and discomfort.
Jagoan felt a momentary pang of guilt, realizing that he had overreacted and acted too harshly upon seeing Maria. Fortunately,
this situation wouldn’t lead to any permanent damage. If the headaches persisted, she would recover after taking some rest.

Meanwhile, at Zilian Villa, Maria, looking pale, slowly opened her eyes.
Michelle, who had been anxiously watching over her, asked with concern, “Miss Clark, how are you feeling?”
Maria felt her head spinning, and a strong urge to vomit churned her stomach.
Seeing that she was about to vomit, Michelle quickly grabbed a trash can and placed it in front of her.
With a forceful expulsion, Maria regurgitated acidic fluid.
Having not consumed any water for twelve hours since her morning meal, what she spat out consisted mostly of stomach acid,
causing her burning throat and esophagus to throb with pain.
Michelle wiped Maria’s mouth, swiftly fetched a cup of warm water, helped her rinse her mouth, and gave her a small sip to drink.
Afterward, Maria felt a bit more at ease. She struggled to sit up, enduring the severe pain that made her feel like her entire brain
was about to explode.
She mustered the strength to ask Michelle, “What time is it?”
Michelle hurriedly replied, “It’s already six forty in the evening.”

Maria nodded lightly and inquired, “Did you inform anyone else about my discomfort?”
Michelle swiftly replied, “You instructed me not to tell anyone, so I kept it to myself. When you slipped into a coma upon entering
the room, I helped you onto the bed and remained by your side. Master and Mr. Cross both inquired about your condition, but I
respected your wishes and simply informed them that you needed some rest.”
“Alright...” Maria weakly nodded and expressed her gratitude, “After getting into the car earlier, I nearly lost consciousness.
Thank you, Michelle.”
Michelle respectfully responded, “Miss Clark, you are too kind... Miss Clark, you haven’t eaten anything all day. Would you like
me to prepare something for you?”
“Okay...” Maria truly felt the emptiness in her stomach, along with the palpitations and weakness caused by hunger.
She added, “Thank you, Michelle, for filling the hot spring pool in the yard. After eating, I’d like to soak in it for a while.”
“Very well, Miss Clark. Please rest for a while, and I will prepare dinner and the hot spring water for you.” Michelle
acknowledged.
After concluding her statement, Michelle bowed and departed, leaving Maria leaning against the bedside in a daze.
Recalling the earlier experience of being repeatedly enticed by Jagoan at noon, she couldn’t help but let out a wry smile and
muttered to herself, “Jagoan Wade, I wonder if I have passed your test of temptation today?”
