were sitting int their chairs while Matilda and I were sitting on the couch. Dad was
already having beads of sweat formed on his forehead. He shouldn't have asked
him anything if he was that afraid of Owen's prophecies. His observing eyes
scanned Matilda and I was stunned to see that she could look him. in the eye.

The only thing that I liked about Owen was that he didn't filter his mouth. If he
didn't like anyone, he would be so upfront about it rather than pretending to like
them. Something that he and I agreed upon was the bad vibes from her mother.
