Chapter 432
During the card game, Estelle lost in the first round and had a note stuck on her forehead by Yvonne with the words, “Don’t look
at me!”
The big red and bold letters were very eye–catching.
Especially since the note was hanging in the middle of Estelle’s eyes. Every time she breathed, the note would flutter and draw
everyone’s attention, making everyone at the table laugh.
Only Estelle had a very innocent expression at this moment, replacing her original indifferent one. Jonathan couldn’t help but
suppress his laughter.
Eventually, he couldn’t hold back anymore and turned to tie up Estelle’s hair for her.
Yvonne kept watching the two of them. When Jonathan tied up Estelle’s hair, Estelle’s expression was so natural and she didn’t
refuse Jonathan’s touch, which made Yvonne feel uneasy.
Yvonne had interacted with Estelle a few times and knew that although she seemed friendly, she was actually quite cold and
didn’t like getting close to people. She always tried to maintain her distance from Charlie and Carson, and even when Yvonne
once tried to shake Estelle’s hand, Estelle politely refused.
But now, she was letting Jonathan get close to her.
And Jonathan, being patient and gentle with a girl like this, when did that ever happen?
With her hair tied up by Jonathan, Estelle’s face looked very pretty.
Yvonne praised her a few times and jokingly said, “Seeing Jonathan’s tying your hair up, kinda wanna lose a round too!”
Jonathan, who was looking at his cards, didn’t respond.
A hint of embarrassment flashed across Yvonne’s face. Carson quickly chimed in, “You better not. Luckily, the note on Estelle’s
forehead says ‘Don’t look at me.‘ What if the next one reads ‘I’m an idiot‘ and gets stuck on your head? Wouldn’t that be even
funnier?”
Yvonne laughed at the thought, “Good thing you reminded me!”
The game continued, and Yvonne eventually lost. Carson put another note on her, she thought for a moment, and stuck it on her
temple.
When Emily lost the next round, Carson volunteered to take the penalty. Yvonne didn’t hold back and stuck a note on his chin,
which looked hilarious.
They played a few more rounds before Yvonne’s phone rang. She went to answer it and
asked Carson to watch her cards for her.

Chapter 432
After a while, Yvonne still hadn’t returned, and Jonathan’s phone rang too. He asked Charlie to keep an eye on his cards while
he took the call.
The call was from Yvonne’s mother, who had decided to go through with the divorce and would settle the family assets and
paperwork in a few days.
Yvonne cried and said she would try to persuade her father. They were crying sadly on the phone.
Yvonne had just hung up when she heard someone coming. Not wanting anyone to see her tear–streaked face, she quickly hid
behind the curtains on the balcony.
When the person who came started to speak, Yvonne realized it was Jonathan.
Jonathan took a work call and hung up after a few sentences. Then, he heard muffled crying behind the curtains.
Frowning, he walked over, drew back the curtains, and saw Yvonne sitting on the sofa, crying in sadness and helplessness.
“What’s wrong?” Jonathan asked
