assistant then cleared his throat and awkwardly stepped aside.
Hamish approached Daken and shook his hand, saying, “Here's to a pleasant
cooperation, Mr.

Daken shook Hamish’s hand blankly and said, “Likewise, Mr. Hamish.”
Hadwin’s mouth was agape while the other company representatives sighed and
shook their heads. They regretted not being bold enough to show Hamish their
proposals sooner. Nonetheless, they were too late, and the Smiths had claimed
