call him dad?”

Kenia sighed and said, “l am too old to find someone better. You are young and
beautiful, so you must find a good man to marry. Of course, his background can’t
be lower than the Lloyd family. How about that young man you met at the
banquet last time? Have you had a good conversation with him? He seems to
come from a wealthy family. You must seize the opportunity. Do you
understand?”

Tessa smiled and said, “Mom, don’t worry. I know he likes me, and I am sure he

When Kenia saw that Tessa was being beaten, she felt so sorry for Tessa that
she stopped pretending to be sick. She jumped out of bed and shouted, “Jacob,

back? Have you forgotten that I am a member of the Lloyd family?”

This was Kenia’s usual trick. Every time she had a fight with Jacob, she would
use the name of the Lloyd family to suppress him.
