After showering, she started drying her hair. The doorbell rang when she was
halfway through.

ago, and he wasn't interested then? Was he having second thoughts now?
Raegan’s courage had waned after she asserted that. She didn’t want to delve
into the topic of intimacy with him.

Feigning innocence, she said, “Didn't we already finish our conversation?”
Suddenly, Mitchel pulled her closer, pressing her against the wall.

His slender fingers gripped her jaw, preventing her from dodging.
