In the previous episode, The Kung family attacks the territory of Xi family in Italy. Charles Mo tells Nina Sze that he didn’t kill Aubery Kung and he didn’t know where exactly he was. He didn’t kill her father either, even though he conspired against him by getting him imprisoned, he wasn’t the one who killed him. She stabs Chales Mo with a dagger in a non-vital spot before letting him escape on his own, saying there was nothing between them anymore.
She meets Rosie and the men of Kung Family as they attempt to kill her. However, Rosie can’t bear to kill her when she hears the cries of Xiao Kui.
They let her live and Nina Sze devotes her life to finding Aubery Kung. Nina Sze refuses to lose her hope with the help of Mr. Carson, who she had been living with since Aubery Kung disappeared.
Her twins are raised in Kung family in Britain and she is allowed to see them 30 days a year, and she witnesses them growing up without her by their side.
Like that, four years pass. She opens an art store beside the building of N.E. where she watches, waiting for Aubery Kung to come back.
This building was filled with office buildings, but downstairs, there was a special gallery. It was Nina’s shop.
She opened a gallery across from the N.E Building. The location was not downtown. The traffic was only from the elite white-collar workers, so the business was naturally quite ordinary.
The gallery was named “Home.” But more people call the gallery the Wooden Gallery.
Meanwhile, a mysterious man named Mr. Y. who hides his face with a mask and never speaks comes to her shop as a regular customer every once in a while during these four years.
As she goes to visit the twins again in Britain, she tells Rosie that she intends on taking the twins with her to China for the New Year’s. Rosie hesitantly agrees. She takes the twins who are already five years old with her and returns to China.
Nina Sze accompanied the twins for a while, then went forward to pay her respects to Aubery’s Parent, Gong Jue and Rosie.
Gong Jue would not be able to see his, but Rosie could still see her occasionally when she was in the mood. They would discuss about the twins with each other, talking about things regarding Aubery’s past.
After experiencing so many things and the decline of the Kung Family, Rosie had long ago stopped forcing people to match their families, and had to get married. He even placed all of his feelings on the twins.
Ever since Solanum nigrum, Gong Kui, started crying on the apron, her relationship with Kung Family started to soften. These few years, it had already started to ease down a lot.
Her son, Holy, is a very diligent and quiet child who studies and practices the customs taught by the Kung family all the time while her daughter, Xiao Kui is a very cheerful and funny child who dislikes studying and likes to play all the time.
The twins get on very well with each other. Xiao Kui loves her mother very much though she rarely gets to see her while Holy is a bit distant and always very polite to her.
