Ingrid was disappointed about her mother with resentment. She was always unwilling to talk about her mother. Especially, she couldn’t bear the words about upbringing.
Viola was undoubtedly adding fuel to Ingrid’s anger.
“I mean your mother!” As her temper rose, Viola became sarcastic. “What a frumpy woman. If you don’t come with Mr. Carl, how dare you come to the fifth floor?”
“Watch your mouth!” Ingrid beat the table and stood up. The dice on the table flew away. “How many men did you sleep with? Shut up or you’ll be slapped.”
There were always competitions among women, including in the Full Bloom. Those women had served many customers and it was a fortune to meet one with a good temper. Otherwise, it would be great suffering. Working in such a competitive and aggressive condition, none of them was to be bullied.
Ingrid had been working here for over a decade, which shaped her tough mind. Knowing that Viola was a dealer, Ingrid was impatient with her arrogance. She believed that they were both working here to earn a living.
“Bitch!” Viola raised her hand but Reyna rushed to stop her.
“Ms. Viola, what happened?”
Reyna was not sure about whether Viola showed off the bracelet to her on purpose last time, though she realized that Viola was not as tender as she seemed to be.
However, Viola’s temper was unexpected.
It would be out of control when two aggressive women quarreled.
Seeing Reyna, Viola was even angrier. She shook off Reyna’s hands and said, “Reyna, none of your business.”
Reyna almost took a tumble.
Other women also came to comfort them.
While Viola and Ingrid were fighting, someone opened the door. Asher stood at the door and asked, “What’s wrong?”
It was until then that Viola and Ingrid stopped.
Carl also came behind. He walked into the room and found them in a disheveled look. He was confused and said, “What happened?”
Ingrid tried her best to contain herself and turned to Carl with a smile, “Sorry, Mr. Carl, I don’t feel well. I’m afraid that I can’t accompany you. Could I go out for a rest?”
Carl found that she didn’t look well. So he patted her hand and said, “Well. Go downstairs and have a rest.”
As a dealer, though Viola was also angry, she couldn’t just go away like Ingrid.
The room became quiet again.
Ingrid went to the first floor and saw a man in the corridor.
Sean?
Ingrid was surprised because he said he had left Hill City. Was it possible that he already came back?
Ingrid walked towards him and said, “Sean!”
Sean got flurried to see Ingrid and he turned around like he didn’t notice her.
Ingrid caught his arm and asked, “Where are you going? You know I am coming.”
Sean’s face was filled with anxiety. It seemed that he was looking for someone else.
“Ingrid, let’s break up,” he said with impatience.
“What are you talking about?” Ingrid was stunned, “Why? Do you get bored?”
“Yes!” He shook off her hand and said, “I’m fed up with you. Let’s part on good terms.”
Fed up with her? Ingrid was shocked.
“You are not serious about me, do you?”
“No way, Ingrid. I admit that you are charming, but I am not serious at all. Don’t you know it?” Sean looked at her in surprise and then said with sarcasm.
“You jerk.” Ingrid slapped him without hesitation.
Then she went away with anger.
Sean was also upset. But he didn’t forget what he came for, so he also turned around and left.
Since crying means losing her face, Ingrid tried her best to refrain from tears.
It was in a nightclub that she met Sean for the first time, rather than in the Full Bloom.
A month ago, she attended a friend’s birthday party in a nightclub, where she met Sean.
Ingrid had a charming appearance and good body shape, which attracted Sean, an amorous man. He soon became Ingrid’s admirer.
Ingrid had spent her youth in the Full bloom, where she got used to the fickleness of human nature. So she was cautious about men.
But she was overwhelmed by Sean’s kindness.
Finally, she was touched and fell in love with him.
She once believed that she had met her Mr. Right. But it turned out to be a trick!
…
During the break, Viola went to the bathroom and washed her face. She seemed to be less gloomy than before.
Leroy didn’t come back.
Actually, Viola was also an employee of the Full Bloom, but she was not strictly restricted as other dealers were.
She was free and she only served big shots, especially Leroy.
Every time Leroy came for gambling, Viola would be his dealer.
This was required by Leroy unless he designated someone else.
She was a dealer, Leroy’s dealer.
She calmed down and took out her phone to call Leroy while leaving the washroom.
While she was about to make the call, someone suddenly caught her waist and pressed her against the wall. Her phone fell to the ground.
“Viola, I haven’t seen you for days. I miss you so much.” Sean kissed her and touched her body.
Viola was shocked and she recognized Sean in the gloom. She looked around to ensure there wasn’t anyone else and pushed him away. “Don’t touch me. I warned you not to find me,” she said with impatience.
She would be toast if Leroy saw them.
“What are you worried about? I miss your passion at that night.” Regardless of Viola’s reaction, Sean put on a flirtatious smile. What he thought about was merely sex.
He kissed her earlobe. Hearing his vulgar words, Viola tried to resist, though her passion was gradually aroused.
Feeling disturbed, she tried to calm down and kept resisting, “Sean, I told you before. I didn’t expect it. Don’t touch me.”
Just a few days ago, she quarreled with her father and went to a bar. Drinking was her only way to relieve depression. She got drunk and slept with a stranger. It was Sean.
When she woke up the next day, she just wanted to kill Sean but finally gave up.
It was the first time that she had sex, incautiously with a stranger. She lost something cherished.
She felt ashamed and was afraid that Leroy would know about it one day.
