After that episode.
“No one,” she answered abruptly, swallowing hard. I was actually bored. “
“Bored?” “Do you have any idea what would happen if that bullet crossed your heart? “I asked.
“I know I could die,” she replied quickly. “But I did save a life.”
As soon as I heard her, that incident began to flash across my head. I rubbed my temples and took a deep breath. Yes, she did save my father’s life.
“Thank you,” I murmured after a minute. “You literally saved my father’s life.”
“Is he all right now?” she asked.
I said, “Yes, he’s fine.”
“So, you saved me, right?” she said again. I stared at her after hearing her. “Just think I am,” I said as I sat on the couch.
“OK, ms.,” I was going to reply, but she stopped me abruptly. “My name is Jolene,” she said. “Jolene, take a break,” I said again after a brief pause. My guys will come to take you tomorrow.”
“Tomorrow?” she said. “Yes, don’t you want to go to Italy?” I asked. “However, the doctors told me to stay here for at least one week,” she stated. “You don’t need to consider it.” I walked out of the room, saying, “I’ll send a man tomorrow.”
Outside, Liam and Uncle were waiting for me. “Is she okay?” Liam said as I approached them. “Yes, she is.” “We’ll take her with us tomorrow,” I said.
“Do you want her to join us?” Liam asked.
“Yes, I’d want to.” After all, she was the one who saved my father’s life. “How can I leave her like this?” I asked.
“But what is she doing there?” Liam inquired. I said, “I asked her the same thing, but she said she was bored.”
“Bored?” Liam said it again. “But don’t worry,” I added, “I’ll ask them directly what happened there.”
Farru’s Aside.
If her background is known, I will allow my father to see her; otherwise, I will not allow him to meet her.
1st scenario
“Mom,” I said as I entered her room, carrying her breakfast.
“Sheetal, honey, why are you doing this?” Mom remarked. “You have a test coming up shortly.”
“Why are you saying this, Mom?” “Can’t I prepare breakfast for you?” I asked, smiling, as I set the tray on the table.
“Yes, you can, but the main thing now is that you have your test in three days, honey.” “You’ll also need to prepare a lot of things,” mom said.
“Mom, my priority is you, okay?” I said as I smiled and grasped her hands. Mom sighed as she took the toast and chewed into it.
“I’m sorry, love.” “I just cannot care for you in this condition,” mom said.
“Mom, why are you saying this?” I said, frowning as I ate. “Who would look after me if you didn’t? I only have you.” Did the man ever ask how we were? “Only you can take care of me,” I said furiously. Mom slightly smiled and touched my cheek. “Can I ask you a question, honey?”
I turned my glance away from her and nodded. When my mother says things like this, it makes me sad. I only have her, so why does she say things like this? “Do you want to hear about him, baby?” mom asked.
“Please, Mom.” I’m not interested in hearing about it. You are also the one for me. You are always there for me when I need someone. So you are everything to me, and I don’t need anyone,” I said as I began putting jelly on bread. “Take a bite, mom,” I said as I offered mom the toast with a smile. Mom smiled as she bit into her toast.
Amily’s Aside
I won’t be with you forever, baby. I’m steadily making my way down my actual road, where no one will ever touch me or find me. Even if you wanted to touch me, Sheetal, you couldn’t. You won’t be able to reach me from there. But who will stay when I am not with you? I’m sure that he will never look for you or me. If I ever get another chance to change my fate, I will never fall in love with that jerk. But I’m still delighted that I have a daughter that’s like you but not like that man. I pray to God that He will grant you complete happiness. I know I won’t be with you that day, but I’ll be watching from above.
Amily smiled at Sheetal as she pondered her thoughts. She was busy preparing breakfast. Sheetal’s phone suddenly rang. Sheetal answered the phone and stated, “Daniel, you are up too early today.”
On the other side of the call.
“Yes, baby. Where are you? “I can’t seem to find you around campus,” Daniel said. Sheetal said, “Daniel, I am at home.” I’m not going to campus today.”
“Why? “Are you alright?” “Is Auntie alright?” Daniel asked. “Daniel, take it easy. Sheetal looked at Mrs. Amily and remarked, “Mom is OK.” “I’m OK, too,” she said again. “Did you forget that I have a test in three days?”
“Oh yes,” Daniel responded, with an arched eyebrow. “I’m sorry, honey.”
Sheetal responded, “It’s all right, Daniel.”
“Then I’ll meet you at noon,” Daniel responded. “Yes, you can.” “Don’t worry, I’ll be at home,” Sheetal stated.
Mrs. Amily’s sister entered the room when they were conversing. She noticed Sheetal was talking on the phone.
So she approached Amily and whispered, “Amily, we have to go to the hospital today.”
Amily’s point of view.
I stared towards Sheetal as I heard my sister. Yes, I am aware that this is my chemotherapy day. I’ve already put it off for one day. But how can I do that when Sheetal is staying at home today? And I usually feel weak after the treatment. I’m at a loss as to what to do next.
Next episode.
“Sister, I think we should go after her exam,” Amily stated.
“Amily, it’ll be too late,” whispered Amily’s sister, her voice hushed.
To be continued.
