Jolene tapped out a number. But, she abruptly paused, typing to consider something. After a time, she dialed the number.
She kept the phone in her hand for a long time, but no one answered. She tried it again, but the same thing happened. No one answered the phone. The nurse asked after seeing Jolene in such a state.
“Is everything all right?”
“Yes,” Jolene said with a smile. After a brief glance at the phone, Jolene stated, “I think I should leave them a message.” “Probably mom is busy.”
Jolene claimed that she typed and sent a message. She looked up at the nurse and thanked her once again.
“You’re welcome, Ms.” She stepped out of the room as she spoke. Jolene was sitting alone in the room.
Jolene’s Aside.
I hope you understand what I’m trying to say.
Scenario
The phone rang.
He picked up the phone to see if there was a message from an unknown number.
‘Mom, I’m well and safe.” I’ll be returning to Italy shortly.
Yours Jolene’.
As he read the message, he smirked. “I know you can do it, girl.” He murmured as he rose from his chair.
Then he urged one of his men to change the phone number. That man nodded and obeyed his boss’s orders. After accepting the order, he walked out of the room. “May I come in, sir?“ a guy remarked as he entered the room at the same moment.
He swiveled in his chair and faced his secretary as soon as he heard. “Bruce,” said James.
“Sir, here is the Romanian concrete file.” “You can get all the details,” Burce stated.
James huffed loudly and sat back in his chair as he opened the file. While checking the paperwork, James was paying close attention to what Bruce had stated.
“Sir, we may find anything relating to Obin on page ten, paragraph two.”
As soon as he heard him, James turned his attention to him. He promptly opened the book to page 10 and began reading. After a time, he said.
“Oh, and that fucker also took Alex’s money.” However, Alex did not inform me of this. I’m not sure what’s going through his head. “
Bruce: I believe Mr. Alex has suffered a tremendous loss with the death of Obin.
“Leave him in his own ways.” I don’t care about him anymore. “He put the file down, just as he had ordered.
“But, sir, hasn’t Obin screwed up everything?” In a worried tone, Bruce questioned James.
“Bruce”. James murmured as he leaned back in his chair. “Don’t worry, I’ve already put my trump card in there.” She’ll take care of everything.“
“Sir.” Bruce’s voice sounded shocked.
“Yes, Bruce. Mr. Af will help us as long as we listen to him. But, if we fail to finish this work effectively, he will stop helping us. And without his help, we wouldn’t be able to build this empire, “James said to Bruce.
“Do you think she can do this, sir?” Bruce asked.
“She’ll do it.” After all, she was the one who saved his life. “He’ll pay it back,” James stated.
“I hope so, sir,” Bruce remarked as he walked out of the room with the paperwork.
While pondering something, James folded his arms.
1st scenario
Daniel came to a complete halt in front of Maria’s house. They didn’t go anywhere. Maybe because of the environment they created early on.
Daniel turned around as Maria stepped out of the car. He desperately wanted to tell her something, but couldn’t. What would he say? Did he have anything further to say to her now? Daniel kept his gaze fixed on her. When she walked into her mansion, he turned away from her.
Daniel’s Remarks.
I desperately wanted to speak with her, but was unable to do so. I’m not into myself, as Maria has pointed out. It’s not me. Why can’t Sheetal love me the way she used to? That was the genuine me. That isn’t the real me.
Daniel slumped back in his seat, his eyes closed. He was pondering his past life.
His phone, however, abruptly rang. He checked his phone as he opened his eyes. Sheetal had called him. He stared at her phone number for a while before receiving the call.
………….
I was expecting Daniel, but he hadn’t arrived yet. He was usually on time, such a conscientious guy. But what’s the deal with him being late today?
As a result, I took up the phone and dialed his number. I was strolling around my room while dialing his number. I eventually heard Daniel’s voice.
“Yes.”
When I heard him, my heart just skipped a beat. Because he has never reacted in this manner. As a result, I was taken aback. But I kept my cool and responded.
“Daniel, where are you, babe?” “I am waiting for you.”
“Sheetal, I’m on my way.” “I’ll be there,” he said. I hung up the phone after hearing him.
I think I was overthinking things. I assumed something had happened to him as he responded, “yes.” But now he’s back to his old self. I grumbled and pulled open the door of my cabinet. I was looking for the box where Daniel’s letter was kept. Daniel is well aware of my fondness for classic romance. The way couples send letters to one another is one of my favorite things. As a result, he occasionally wrote me notes and sent me bouquets.
I opened the box and pulled out all of his letters.
I occasionally re-read his letters when I was bored. When it comes to love, Daniel is such a little boy. He used to be a nag who demanded that I pamper and love him all the time. I think I am the happiest person in the world. I have a boyfriend like Daniel. Sometimes I pray to God to keep a third party out of our connection. I’m frightened of losing him now, although I used to be the one who gave him the cold shoulder all the time.
But that is no longer the case. I can’t imagine a day without him. Please, God, save us from others, and please, God, save our relationship if it is about to fall apart.
……
Scenario 2.
I cracked my eyes and moved my head gently. I was on the bed with a blanket over my body. I rubbed my brow. I had no idea when I had fallen asleep. I can only say that after receiving a massage from her, I slept quite well. She’s really excellent at this, I’ve got to admit. She is an expert massage therapist. At least one thing she can do better.
I sat up in bed, stretching my arms. I got out of bed and came out of my room while yawning.
I need to speak with my dad. Moreover, I have a lot to say to him. I took it carefully and had a look around. I was also looking for Liam. But he wasn’t down there. He was probably in his room.
Forget about it! First, I have to meet Dad, and then I’ll meet him. I went straight to my dad’s room. I knocked on his door and asked permission to enter.
“Yes,” responded Dad.
I slid the door open and entered the room. I noticed he was busy. There were several documents strewn across the table.
As soon as he saw me come, he murmured, “Farru.” I said it with a smile on my face.
“Are you busy, Dad?”
I was attempting to maintain a sense of normalcy with Dad. Yes, I was trying to maintain normalcy in our relationship. Because that experience gave me the impression that I may have lost him as well. He could leave me, just as my mom did. I’m terrified of losing him. I may have claimed I despise him, but my heart knows how much I love him.
“No, I was looking through some old files,” Dad explained. He put his spectacles on the table and glanced at me. While conversing, I strolled toward the bookcase in search of a book.
“Is this important?”
“Yeah, “It’s about our long-serving members,” “Dad said.
I know very little about the previous members. I heard that my dad and his two friends were partners, but that they had to cut ties because of something. But such topics never piqued my curiosity. I’ve always wondered how I might strengthen my league.
As a result, I’m less interested in my father’s friends. I grabbed a book off the shelf and turned to the first page. I sat next to him in a chair and questioned him without looking at him.
“Dad, what are your thoughts on Jolene?”
“Who’s that, Jolene?” Dad asked.
“The one,” I murmured as I gazed at him. “You saved her life, and she saved yours.”
“I thought of sending her to Italy,” Dad explained.
“It’s the same for me, dad.” But I told my uncle to bring her along. After all, she saved your life, and I’d want to send her on her own as a gesture of gratitude. “
“That’s wonderful, dear. “You are now grown up enough to deal with such situations,” dad added with a smile.
I smiled back at him. “But dad, who gave her permission to leave the hotel.” You must speak to them. “How dare they defy a command?”
With a sigh and a nod of his head, Dad expressed his dissatisfaction with the situation. “I spoke with them, son.”
It isn’t their fault, in fact. We just can’t hurt our guests, and the girl was our visitor, not a prisoner. So they were only carrying out her wishes.“
“OK, dad, as you say,” I responded, standing up. I tucked a book page into the corner. I decided to retire to my room and read quietly. But my dad intervened.
“Farru, I’d want to bring a girl with us,” dad explained.
“Dad,” I said, frowning as I heard him. “What’s the matter, dad?”
“Who did you pick?” “And why did it happen so quickly?” I asked. I don’t want us to have any more problems in our lives.
“Her name is Sally,” Dad said, “and I think she will be of great help to us in the future.”
“Sally? I asked, “Who is she?” “And how can you claim she’ll be of use to us?”
Dad answered to me, “Farru, you know her as well.”
I narrowed my eyes when Dad said, “I know her.” “Can you tell me who it is?”
……..
After a time, I stormed out of Dad’s office, furious. How is it possible for Dad to pick her up? She is a very inexperienced girl, and we cannot trust her. I’m not sure what made my dad think she‘s a trustworthy girl.
I gritted my teeth and made my way to the kitchen. “Where is Sally?” I yelled angrily as I shoved open the kitchen door. Everyone glanced at me uneasily and bowed their heads.
“Sir,” said the senior. “Do you need anything? You may inform me.”
I repeated, “Where is Sally?”
I was startled to hear a girl’s voice from behind my back.
“Yes, sir.” I’m here.”
She was carrying a basket full of flowers as I turned around. I gave her a grimace and grabbed her hands in mine. I hauled her away from the spot. The force caused the basket to fall from her grasp, scattering all the blooms on the floor.
“What will happen now, ma’am?” “Does Sir take her to his room?” one of the maids said. “Yes, ma’am, will he beat her up? I’m scared,” remarked another.
The senior maid was irritated and said, “ahh.” “Stop it, guys,” she said. They all nodded slowly and took a step back.
“Nothing bad will happen to her,” the senior one murmured, staring at the door.
Next episode.
“Ahh,” I whimpered as he forcefully grasped my hand. “Do you realize how hazardous it is?” he yelled over my face. “ You may also lose your life.”
To be continued.
