After that episode.
“There’s no need to be concerned, Mr. Farru. I’m perfectly fine. I simply need to relax, Jolene said.
“But-” I was about to say something to her, but she ignored me and walked towards the stairs. “Son, what’s wrong?” father questioned with furrowed eyebrows. “Is she all right?”
I frowned and replied, “Dad, how come I know if she’s okay or not if I’m not living here 24 hours?”
Liam pressed his lips to suppress his laugh as soon as he heard. “Liam, stop it,” Uncle Ken urged.
“But, farru, she is also your guest. You were the ones who invited her. What is this attitude now? ” My uncle asked.
“I know, uncle, but-” I was about to tell them what I thought, but I stopped. I sighed and said, “I’m sorry, dad.” I’m working on it. Let me speak with her. “
“But I doubt she’ll talk to you right now, Farru,” Liam remarked.
I murmured, tapping my forehead, “Sally was with her. She may know what happened there.”
Dad calmly uttered my name, “Son.” He’s attempting to explain things to me. I took my hand from my brow and glanced at him.
“Son, she is staying with us.” Don’t doubt her, please. “”She saved my life,” my dad explained.
I sighed and turned my head away from him. Consequently, he was aware that I had doubts about her.
But, Dad, you have no idea why I am questioning her. I am aware that she saved you, but it does not obligate me to accept her word at face value. I won’t make the same mistake that you did.
Why should I trust her if I don’t? Yes, I don’t trust her because she doesn’t deserve my trust.
I stood up from the couch and sternly remarked, “Dad, just because she saved your life doesn’t mean I’ll do anything she asks.”
As I already stated, I moved away from there. I heard my father call me once. But right now, I don’t feel like talking to him. I know he will lecture me, and that will mean nothing to me. At least in regards to Jolene.
……..
Farru headed for his bedroom. “Nevermind him, uncle. But he’s doing this for our good, “stated Liam.
“However, this isn’t a healthy habit. “We all know what happened to her,” Mr. Musa remarked.
Liam’s point of view.
“I know, uncle. Nevertheless, have faith in him. He reached an age when he could comprehend things. Just trust him. “He’ll handle everything,” I assured him.
Uncle remarked, “Liam, you don’t comprehend what I’m trying to express.” But, in the meantime, my dad interrupted my uncle.
My dad told him, “Musa, I think when Farru said that, he certainly had something in his mind.”
Uncle sighed deeply and dropped his gaze.
“But will he change this habit? One day, he will have to put his trust in someone. Will he be able to do so? “Uncle asked.
“He trusts us, uncle.” “When he finds the proper person, he will undoubtedly trust them,” I replied while holding my uncle’s hand.
I understand his concerns. But we must wait. And also, because Farru has already entered the firm, he will gradually find out who is the most trustworthy.
But the only reason I’m terrified of him is because he intends to fire several senior staff members, which is a hazardous move. The majority of them, though, are gang members. But if we started messing with them, it would be disastrous for us. And they routinely stole a large sum of money from our business.
And with the way they handle everything, no one can readily catch them. Many people are associated with this.
I am aware that firing them won’t affect our company; in fact, it will increase our profitability. But it will be dangerous for both of us. They will not spare us.
I got up from the couch and walked away from my uncle and dad. I headed over to Farru’s room to speak with him about this matter.
…….
Liam went upstairs to his room. He saw Farru looking through some documents. Farru gave Liam a cursory glance as he entered the room before returning to his work.
After closing the door, Liam sat down on a chair.
“What’s the matter?” I questioned Liam while reading a file.
While opening a file, Liam stated.
Liam: It’s all about business. You probably already know that.
“Yes, I am aware.” But I’m wondering how they managed to avoid my father and uncle, “I murmured as I turned the page.
Liam: I agree. They needed to be more cautious. You may have noticed that two billion dollars have disappeared. However, they didn’t accept the entire sum at once. They took it gradually.
“Of course, they won’t take it all at once or they’ll get caught,” I said.
“Then what are you thinking?” Liam asked, arching his eyebrows. “”Are you planning to dismiss them?”
When I heard Liam, I smiled. I turned the page while leaning back in the chair. However, Liam tilted his head and his eyes became wider. He responded, “No, don’t even think about this,” while shaking his head in disagreement.
I drooped my lips and tightened my eyes.
Liam: Farru, be serious.
“Ha,” I sighed heavily, then added, “They deserve it.”
Liam: Farru, it’s not only about one or two guys.
I stood up and headed for the window. As I spoke, I slightly moved the curtain.
I smirked and said, “Liam, they took 2 billion and that’s plenty for their family if they die, right?”
Liam was about to say, “farru, its-,” but I interrupted him.
“Liam, they betrayed us, and I don’t like betrayers.” So let them die. “I also need to clear up certain bugs, “I said.
Liam remarked, “OK, you are really thoughtful.”
“Thank you,” I answered, with a smile.
Liam: But it’s cruel.
I sighed and turned the page once again, muttering, “Don’t ruin my head now.” Let me do my work perfectly. “
“Yeah sure and think of new methods to kill people,” Liam said as he moved to open the door. “Ha!” Hearing him, I touched my forehead.
But all of a sudden, he paused and asked, “Hey, what about Jolene?”
“Jolene, ah. I quickly said, “I think she is a spy.”
“What?” Liam asked with a broken-hearted expression.
Me: Yeah.
Liam: Oh, no! My heart! She is attractive.
I rolled my eyes and said, “Then die with her.”
Liam: Unfortunately, I can’t because it will make my other girlfriends upset.
Me: Liam.
I was annoyed and hissed his name. He’s totally devouring my brain right now.
“Come on, man. “Call me when you’re ready to talk about her,” Liam snapped.
Me: at night.
I said with a frown.
Liam opened the door with a tight-lipped nod.
Me: You jerk, remember to shut the door.
Liam: great.
As he shut the door, Liam shouted. “Nasty jerk,” I said while touching my head. But immediately, someone knocked once again. As I heard, I scowled.
I am aware that he returns only to annoy me. His behavior won’t ever change.
He used to bother me by knocking on the door when I was a youngster. I was about to curse him when Sally’s voice startled me.
“This is Sally, sir.” “May I come in?” she said.
Thus, it is Sally. Indeed, I need to speak with her. It’s excellent that she has some common sense and comes to inform me; I don’t need to summon her. “Yes,” I replied.
……….
Farru prodded her to enter. Sally turned the knob and stepped inside, but as she did so, someone was watching her from behind a wall.
Sally’s point of view.
Sir instructed me to enter. I pushed open the door and entered. When Sir turned to face me, he asked about noon. I bowed my head and said, “Sir, I messed up everything.”
Sir raised his eyebrows and asked, “What?”
As soon as I heard him, I gasped. Sir, won’t spare me today.
“Sally, I am asking you something,” Mr. Farru asked again.
So I told Sir the whole story, start to finish. He gave me a really attentive ear.
After some time, I said, “That’s all, sir.” She appears to be depressed to me.
Sir sat back in his easy chair and made the sound of “hmm.”
I averted my sight as he remained silent. I truly annoy him. Sir abruptly yelled my name and said, “Sally, you really hurt her.”
Next episode.
“Mr. Farru, I want to go home,” Jolene remarked.
I was paying close attention to her. Again, she remarked, “I simply don’t want to be a burden on you guys.” I appreciate all you guys do for me. As a result, I’ve decided to leave this mansion. “
Then, I asked, “What about your mother?”
She added, “I’ll help the police with the investigation.”
