After that episode.
I let out a sigh as I lowered my hands from my chin. Then I asked her, “Do you honestly believe you are our burden, Ms. Jolene?”
Jolene: i-i.
I looked up at her and questioned, “I what?” What makes you think that we regard you as a burden?
“Mr. Farru, you have misunderstood me. It’s not like that, “Jolene remarked, her expression filled with worry. She conveyed her sorrow by making a pitiful expression.
“Then?” I questioned. I chose to ignore her pitiful expression.
I simply want to know her thoughts. Will she admit that Sally interrogated her?
Jolene averted her gaze and said, “Mr. Farru, you people have truly done a lot for me. I’m grateful for it. I will never forget that. Mr. Farru, I have a life and a place to live. I am aware that they destroyed my home, but I can handle the damage. “
I supported my chin on my palm while keeping a fixed gaze on her and listening to her.
She is simply speaking about herself and ignoring the real cause. So I interrupted her in the middle of her statement and asked, “Ms. Jolene, what’s the problem?”
Jolene lifted her head and whispered, “I want to go home.”
I stared at her for a while as she spoke before I averted my eyes.
“Okay, but explain to me why you did not buy anything? I ordered Sally to go along and escort you to the shopping. So why? ” I asked.
I was attempting to get her to tell the truth. She smiled and replied, “Actually, Mr. Farru, I don’t go to a luxurious shopping center much. I was unable to make a purchase because I was somewhat confused there. “
Hmm! An emotional attack! But never mind, I’ll take your drama in stride.
“Did someone tell you something, ms Jolene?” I asked.
“No, no. “No one said anything to me,” Jolene quickly retorted.
I said, “Then?” as I tilted my head.
“Mr. Farru, it’s nothing. I just miss my house, “she said.
Okay, so you won’t be telling the truth to me. But if you are a mystery person, why would you wish to leave this house? That is the main question. It seems really suspicious. Ms. Jolene, what are you planning? No problem, then. “You are free to leave,” I said.
Let’s see what you are trying to do.
Jolene held her focus on me for a few moments before smiling.
“Thank you, Mr. Farru.” I stopped her as she was ready to go while she was speaking.
Me: hold on.
She looked at me. “Ms. Jolene, I have told the police about your mother. I expected that they would find her quickly.
She nodded as she gradually closed her eyes.
Jolene: Mr. Farru, I hope so.
As soon as I nodded, Jolene left the room. But I had the impression that she had slammed my door with significant force. I leaned back in my chair.
What is she thinking about? She anticipated that I would stop her.
To be continued.

I was seated on the balcony and was constantly observing the sky. Everyone was inside the home. But me!
I feel so alone, and it looks like everything is in shadows. The light, too! I lost my mother, so I lost my brightness. I can’t seem to find her anywhere.
