And if anyone tried, then they would only be wanting to get themselves a good beating, and no teacher would dare to say anything because all five of us were all rounders, so the competitions depended on is, if not for the fact that we wanted to be low-key, we would have revealed our backgrounds.
I forgot to mention, the four of us were from the top four families, mine — the second richest, Alexander’s family — the third richest and William and Emma’s family — the fourth richest (they are siblings), but Jayden was an orphan.
All the four of us grew up together as a group and met a 10 years old Jayden when he was hit by a car while running and was bleeding heavily. We took him to the hospital owned by Alexander’s father, and took care of him. After regaining consciousness, he stared at the ceiling. His eyes looked dead, like no emotion ever existed in them. Seeing the doctors approaching him, Jay (Jayden’s nickname) started struggling.
It took us time to hold him down. He still wasn’t calming down, so the nurses had to give him sleeping pills to calm him. He still didn’t stop trembling in his sleep, tears continuously streaming down his cheeks. He looked like he was having a nightmare.
After some sleep, when he woke up, he looked calm but was worried about the bill, but the thing that he didn’t even have to pay a cent seemed to set him at ease. He was recovering in the hospital, and we used to visit him after the classes. We used to take his favorite food items, for him and chatting with him about the day in school.
It just took time, but he slowly started opening his heart to us. He used to start trembling when we asked about his past, but finally one day, told us that his parents left him on the gate of the order. The founder or the headmaster of the orphanage took him in and raised him with love and care, which made other children jealous and they used to bully him like throwing mud on him, snatching his things, cut his hair forcefully, made him lick the sand on the ground, make him clean their shoes.
The warden, whose son and daughter was also staying in that orphanage, used to make him do all the work assigned to her children and beat him with belts in case he made a mistake, she threatened him saying that the headmaster would leave him of he complained to him. Losing the only person who cared for him was the last thing Jay wanted, so he silently received all the torture given to him.
He had to work even if he was on a high fever and he didn’t even get a meal a day if he asked for some rest. Soon after two years, the head master died, and the warden, in a chance of earning money, sold him as a ********** to a group of men.
No matter how much he tried to escape, he couldn’t and would be punished for trying. The men would tie him with chains n@ked to the table and use s*x toys on him. He would shout due to the pain but nobody was there to help. They would s**ually assault him almost everyday, beat him with flogger till the time they are satisfied, not even caring that he fainted.
It went on for a year before he finally escaped, only to be hit by a car. He was happy that finally his torture is going to end. But was saved by us. While narrating his past, he was crying so badly that we just went ahead and hugged him tightly and for the first time, he didn’t react negativity towards our touch.
Listening to the story, all the four of us had their eyes teary, not to mention Jay who personally experienced it and it was very now crystal clear why his eyes have that look. To imagine that a mere 9 years old child had to suffer this much made my heart ache. I glanced at the other three and as if on cue, they also turned to me and nodded as if we knew what the other was thinking.
We mentally swore that we would amend Jay’s broken heart and make h recover from his trauma. Jay clinged to us till he calmed down but still didn’t let go, maybe because of the warmth of our bodies!!!!
