When Tobias decided to let me go, I already had a part of my body numb because of the long time we had been holding each other.
– I’m going back to be with him. – he said.
– OK! – I answered.
I was a little sad that he left me to go and be with his father. But I didn’t have that right. Suddenly, I felt anger running through my body and I realized that if I stayed there, I would I ran to my room, grabbed a purse, put my cell phone in, ID and some money and hurried down the stairs. Rose was cleaning up the living room, it saved me the time to search- there.
– Rose\, I’m leaving. If Tobias asks for me\, tell him I needed some time alone. – I said and left right away without giving her a chance to answer me.
When I passed through the entrance gate to the mansion’s grounds, I realized that I had nowhere to go. So I walked the streets of the city aimlessly. Until I realized that I was standing in front of the abandoned building that was once I looked from side to side to see if no one was looking at me and entered quickly. I walked for many minutes to make sure there was no one inside the building. I went to the top floor and released all my rage.
“How can I be so stupid as to give up killing my uncle just because I didn’t want to hurt Tobias?”
I kept asking myself this question all the time. My hands had turned blue and I felt a chill spread through the air around me. But that cold didn’t bother me. What was bothering me was not knowing why I couldn’t keep going. ahead with all my revenge plan that it took me two months to reach the perfection of the planning to put it into practice. I was furious and I threw blasts of ice towards the walls. When the ice touched them, it turned into the shape of pointed thorns, that would punch anyone through quite easily.
Unconsciously, I punched one wall very hard and regained consciousness because of the pain.
I had broken my hand because of it. Suddenly I fell on my knees and started to cry. I knew the reason for all that. I was in love with my cousin and didn’t want to make him suffer what I suffered seven years ago. years ago. I couldn’t be the monster I needed to be.
Do not allow the ice that ran in my veins that when I got hurt to put the bone of my hand back in its place. I got up and went straight to my uncle’s house. It didn’t look like it, but I had been gone for many hours. When I got there, it was getting dark. I opened the door and saw that Tobias was standing up and down in the living room. When he saw me he came running towards me.
– You silly\, how do you go out without saying where you’re going? I was really worried\, you know? – he said hugging me.
– There! – I said unconsciously when his body touched my broken hand.
– What happened to your hand? – he asked\, startled when he noticed.
– I tripped and put only one hand to support my whole body. I think it broke. – I answered.
– Come\, let’s see the doctor. – he said taking my other hand and leading me towards the stairs.
“I don’t want to go into my uncle’s room. I don’t want Tobias to be kinder to me. I just wanted to disappear. I should never have accepted to come and live here. I should never have come back. I could have built a life in any other. city, anywhere else. Why did I come here? Why take revenge? Nothing will bring them back. “
Those were my thoughts as we climbed the stairs. Suddenly I burst into tears again. It felt like I was living it all over again. My parents’ death, the bad nights I missed them while I cried. I was completely desperate. .And Tobias was right in front of me. I didn’t want him to see me in that state.
Then he hugged me and said:
– Calm down\, I’m here. You are not alone.
And I hugged him tight. I didn’t want to be alone anymore. I wanted him to stay with me.
We held each other for a while, until we heard the doctor leave my uncle’s room.
– Doctor\, please examine her hand. We think it may be broken. – said Tobias with a note of concern in his voice.
– I’ll get my work tools. – replied the doctor opening the door to my uncle’s room and leaving shortly afterwards with his briefcase.
We went downstairs and went to the kitchen. I leaned my hand on the counter and he began to examine. In all of my right hand I felt pain, especially when he touched.
– It really is broken. Miss will have to be strong to endure the pain of the bone returning to the place. – said the doctor.
– Okay. I can take it. – I answered.
I had been through a lot. It certainly wouldn’t be a bone being put back in place the worst of them.
– I will count to three and I will push you to the place. – said the doctor.
I nodded positively and he started counting right away:
– One two…
– AAAAAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII! YOU SAID IT WAS AT THREE. – I said yelling at the doctor.
– But you were already prepared for the pain. So it doesn’t matter if it was three or not. – said the doctor smiling.
Tobias was smiling behind me too, but I was really upset.
The doctor started to bandage my hand and it didn’t take long for him to finish.
– You need to leave her immobilized for fifteen days. I even went to take the bandage off. From time to time\, move your fingers so that you don’t lose their movement. – recommended the doctor.
– Thanks. – I said just that. I was still upset because of the pain.
– Those are antibiotics for pain. – he said holding out a hand with a medicine box so I could take it.
I just picked them up and got up to drink water. The doctor talked for a while with Tobias at the kitchen door and then went upstairs going back to my uncle’s room.
Tobias came towards me and hugged me from behind.
– Don’t go out that way anymore. Remember that there is someone wanting to hurt my family. If something happens to you\, I don’t know what I would do. – he said in my ear.
His voice had been so soft, it made my neck crawl. When I realized that, I felt my face heat up. I was embarrassed again.
Tobias laughed at the situation, turned me around so I could look him in the eye. He kissed my forehead and hugged me again.
This hug was like he was protecting me from all the bad things that existed in the world. I didn’t want to let him go.
– I wish I could be like this with you forever. – he said.
– Me too. – I replied and was surprised by my sincerity.
He released me and gave me a smile, took my hand and we headed towards the dining room.
