I couldn’t sleep for a long time. I was looking forward to the moment when my uncle would wake up and see his best friend’s body all bloodied on his bedroom floor. Whenever I thought about it, I couldn’t help the smile that I had forgotten how good it felt to get revenge little by little. But I would stop playing games for a while, make him think that nothing would happen to him anymore. the Frost Witch was gone from the map. And when the time was right, I would kill him by looking you in the eye.
I got up around 6:00 am and took a very slow and relaxing shower. I wanted to enjoy every drop of hot water that fell from the shower and touched my body. As soon as I finished, I went to look in the mirror. it had been a long time since I had seen myself as I really was at that moment, and I missed that.
I took a deep breath and let it all come up. My blue eyes without the contact lenses to hide them. When I finally noticed my hands, I saw that it wasn’t just them that were shining blue, my forearms also had the same tone as mine. It felt like all that ice, all that power was spreading through my body parts and expanding, making me feel stronger and stronger.
I stood for a long time admiring my appearance in the mirror. So I decided to get dressed. I wanted to be ready for when my uncle woke up and saw the gift I had left for him. I wanted to see the wonderful expression of fear on his face. .
I was still tired of wearing dresses and in no way wanted to wear pants. So I grabbed a short of fabric and a tank top, put some sneakers on my feet and went to the balcony to get some sunlight on my face.
The day was only at the beginning, but it was already beautiful. The sun shining overhead, birds flying and singing. However, it was getting terribly hot, so I decided to go back inside my room. As soon as I closed the door to the balcony I heard a very loud scream from the hall.
– It’s show time. – I said smiling going towards the door to leave the room.
As soon as I left, I saw Tobias leaving his room. He looked at me with wide eyes and ran towards my uncle’s room and I went after him. When he opened the door, my uncle was paralyzed on the bed. his eyes. Tobias looked at the floor and saw the blood already dried on the carpet. He looked a little more to his right and was terrified by what he saw. He brought both hands to his mouth and opened his eyes wide. Then he looked at me and I saw that he didn’t want to allow me to enter his father’s room.
– What happened ? – I asked trying to put on a frightened expression.
– Don’t go in here. – he said.
– I want to know what’s going on Tobias. – I said a little louder for him to think I was worried.
I tried to enter the room, but he blocked the door. So I looked at the floor and saw that the blood on the carpet was in view and that’s when I had an idea.
– What blood is that? – I said with my eyes wide.
– Get out of here. – He said putting his hand so I could not walk anymore.
So I took his hand and went down. And I made him think I was very scared. He hugged me very tight, released me and took my hand to lead me inside my uncle’s room. There he went over to his father and I looked at the midfielder’s body in exactly the same place as I had left it.
So I screamed and turned around. Tobias came running over to me and hugged me making me bury my whole face in his chest and made me fall out of the room.
– That’s why I didn’t want you to go to see that atrocity. – he said while rubbing my head in an attempt to comfort me.
– I didn’t know it was that horrendous. – I said making the tears run down my face as I looked at him.
It was going as I had planned. I just thought it was a pity that I couldn’t see the fear on my uncle’s face. Unfortunately, that expression I would only see at the end.
– You can’t leave your father alone. – I said while hugging him again.
– I’ll stay with him. Please call the police. – He asked me.
– Right. – I answered.
He kissed me on the forehead and went back to my uncle’s room. I went into my room and took out my cell phone. I wanted to call the police at a place where the cameras in the hallway would take my picture doing this. Not long. After I called the police, they arrived. They went straight to the crime scene and started looking for clues. I realized that there was an expert who was looking for fingerprints on the doctor’s body.
– Did you find something? – my uncle asked.
– Incredible as it may seem\, there are no fingerprints or DNA without being the victim’s own. – replied the policeman.
I was surprised that there was no trace of me in that room. I confess that I was nervous to think about the possibility of being discovered in this way.
– We will contact you if we find something. Excuse me. – said the policeman\, leaving my uncle’s room.
Tobias ran after the policeman and I went after him to find out what he was going to do.
– Please don’t tell my dad about anything. His health is in poor condition. – said Tobias to the policeman.
– Okay\, Mr. King. We’ll be in touch as soon as we have an answer. Go well. – said the last policeman passing through the front door of the house.
I approached Tobias and hugged him from behind. Soon I felt his hands holding my arms causing me to release him so that we could hug each other facing each other.
– I don’t know what would become of me if something like this happened to you. – I told him.
– Neither would I if it happened to you. – he replied.
We held each other for a long time. His arms wrapped around my body seemed to protect me from a danger that did not exist for him. Fortunately, he did not know that the danger was none other than myself.
We went up the stairs and saw that Rose was washing the floor in my uncle’s room.
– Where’s my dad? – Tobias asked.
– He’s taking a shower\, sir. – Rose replied.
– He can’t go without observation. – I talked.
Then Tobias started walking towards the bathroom and when he opened the door, I saw that he breathed a sigh of relief.
– What are you doing sitting there dad? – he asked.
– If he hadn’t been my friend\, he wouldn’t have died that way. It’s all my fault. – I heard my uncle reply.
– Uncle\, you are not to blame for anything. The fault is with the person who is doing all these horrible things. You have to move on with your head held high. All this will pass. – I said and everything was just lies.
– Thank you Diana. But nothing at this moment will make me feel better. – he said.
– It’s good to talk. Take a quick shower and don’t do anything stupid. I’m here outside. – Tobias said as he closed the bathroom door.
I looked at him with a sad expression on my face and he took one of my hands.
– Rose\, please arrange everything for the doctor’s funeral. – asked Tobias.
– Yes sir. – she replied leaving the room.
– I’m going back to my room. I can’t stand being here\, you know. – I said looking at him.
– Anything you call me. – he said.
And I didn’t say anything, I just nodded and he kissed my forehead before I left my uncle’s room. I walked slowly to look like I was stunned by all of that and went into my room. forming on my face was impossible to control.
– How good it is to achieve the perfection of my plans. – I spoke softly as I threw myself on the bed to try to doze a little to recover the hours of sleep I lost because I was too anxious about all this.
