David finally made up his mind and followed them. It took half an hour to reach the hospital. He came after five minutes of Liam, Rachel and Max. But luckily he saw them standing outside the hospital.
When they went inside David went inside too. He saw them going to the reception. He didn’t want them to discover him. But he also wanted to hear what they spoke about. So he cautiously went near them and stood there. His back was facing them.
He heard Liam asking for the best eye doctor in the hospital. The receptionist said him his cabin number. Hearing that they were looking for an eye doctor his heart started beating fast.
Rachel again started looking pale like yesterday. They were moving forward when Rachel fainted. Liam immediately held her in his hands and asked the receptionist to show an empty cabin to them. She soon took them to a cabin. David followed them.
Rachel woke up after few minutes. David was standing outside Rachel’s cabin. He was able to hear what they were saying as the room wasn’t soundproof. Rachel and Liam were about to talk when David saw Dr. Will coming towards Rachel’s cabin. He immediately moved from there.
He saw Dr. Will going inside her cabin. And then he again stood outside the door. From inside they weren’t able to see David. But David was able to see and hear them. He started listening.
Dr. Will said, “What happened why are you so weak? “
Liam said, “Rach wasn’t able to sleep properly for past few days due to the pain in her right eye. “
Rachel said, “Are the results of my eye out? And how come you are at this hospital? “
Dr. Will spoke, “I transferred to this hospital before some weeks. And yes your test results are out. I might know the cause of your pain. “
Max was quietly looking at them and listening. He didn’t interrupt. He was the only one who saw David standing outside the room when he went to the washroom attached to Rachel’s cabin. He wanted David to listen and know the truth.
Liam said, “So why do you think her eye is paining? “
Dr. Will said, “After the eye donation. Everything was alright. But as she had donated it while her own body was weak she had already been in a coma for rao months. So I thought that this might have happened due to her weak health.”
Rachel said, “What do you mean? “
Dr. Will said, “After so many years your brain might have been under tremendous pressure recently. So the nerve tissues in your right eye had an effect. And if you still don’t do an eye operation within sometime then you will permanently lose the hope of being able to see from your right eye. “
Rachel shook her head in disagreement, “No I won’t do any eye operation. “
Dr. Will sighed, “Okay. But then you will lose the hope of seeing through your right eye permanently. And are you sure you won’t say the truth to him? “
Rachel was silent.
Liam said, “Why won’t you let us say that it was you who saved David? Why do we need to keep our mouths shut in front of him? It was you who made the stupid promise with him so why shall we fulfill it? “
Rachel was still silent.
David heard Liam loud and clear from outside the cabin too.

[The thing about Rachel’s eye pain is made up by me. I don’t know if these are even valid in reality or not. So kindly forgive me for that.]
