Married to the Boss: A Love in Disguise Chapter 137
Lumma said, “I’m going to build a snowman later.”
It snowed in Lumma’s hometown, Soothy City. Her grandma used to take her to build snowmen every winter.
Red Pine City was located in the south, and it never snowed, so Lumma hadn’t built a snowman for several years.
Leonard was not romantic at all. He said, “We are not children anymore. Why do you still want to build snowmen?”
Lumma said, “I bet you don’t have a girlfriend.”
Leonard stepped back in fright. “Lumma, don’t fall in love with me. I don’t want to be in a relationship and will never get married
in this life.”
Lumma said, “You’re overthinking.”
“Leonard, go ten steps to the right.” Adam’s voice suddenly came from the stairwell.
They turned their heads and saw Adam walking gracefully down the stairs in a white shirt and black trousers.
When there was heavy snow outside, the heating in the north was turned on inside, so they didn’t need to wear thick clothes.
Leonard didn’t know why but still followed Adam’s words.
After he went ten steps to the right, a full-length mirror appeared in front of Leonard.
He looked at himself in the mirror and felt that he was not as good-looking as before.
He was not ugly and was a little handsome. What he saw the most was Adam’s impeccable face, so he naturally felt ugly in
comparison.
Adam said, “Have you seen it clearly?”
Leonard looked around but didn’t see anything. He asked, “Mr. Hills, what should I look at?”
Adam said, “Since you don’t see it clearly, stay here and keep looking. Let me know when you see it clearly.”

Adam thought, “Lumma doesn’t even like me. How could she like you?”
Leonard showed a wry smile. “Mr. Hills, please tell me more clearly.”
“Adam, you are giving Leonard a hard time again!” George came from outside the house with a few snow flakes on his head.
Leonard and Lumma greeted him immediately. “Mr. Marple!”
George nodded and took a glance at Lumma. He said to Adam, “Adam, let’s go to your study. I have something to talk to you
about.”
Adam led George to the study on the third floor.
Lumma remembered George and Keeley. When she saw them last time, she accidentally saw them having a fight.
Leonard leaned into Lumma’s ear and whispered, “This is George. Compared with his family background, people are more fond
of talking about his wife, Keeley.”
“What’s wrong with Keeley?” Lumma’s first impression of Keeley was that Keeley was a soft and sweet girl, making people want
to protect her.
Leonard said mysteriously, “The Marple family and the Wilson family were originally both powerful. After George and Keeley
were born, the two families wanted them to get married. When Keeley was eighteen years old, she and George got engaged.
Her family sent her to the Marple family in Hanton City so that they could cultivate feelings.”
Lumma had heard about the marriages of many wealthy families. “Many wealthy families do this.
It’s not surprising.”
Leonard said, “Don’t say that. Let me finish first. When they have not been engaged for two years, the Wilson family’s family
business has plummeted because of standing on the wrong team. The Wilson family collapsed, and the gap with the prosperous
Marple family is getting wider...”
