Michael sighed, immensely pleased with the strategy. Max always handled things
without personal feelings, and his indifference toward Brielle reassured Michael.

mind. Discharging himself from the hospital after only three days was pushing it.
Patrick rushed over with a cup of warm water. “Mr. Dorsey, maybe you should
head back to the hospital for a bit more rest?”
