Chapter 1340
The multi-angled surveillance cameras had only captured their backs.
Marshall pursed his lips tight and did not say anything.
Trevor looked at Keegan and softly asked, "Did you notice anything?"
Keegan came up with a conclusion. "From the footage, it seems like Ms. Moore didn't struggle at all. Perhaps she was really
drunk like she claimed."
Trevor glanced at him before asking Marshall, "Should we find the male stripper and question him about it? After all, this has
something to do with Ms. Moore's reputation."
Marshall remained silent for a moment before he said, "I have to ask Molly how she wants to deal with this first."
Upon hearing that, Trevor said, "Don't worry about the footage. I won't let it leak out."
Marshall thanked him. Then, he received a call from Molly and left.
After Marshall walked away, Trevor looked at Keegan and pursed his lips. "You managed to erase everything."
Keegan pretended to be confused. ' Erase what?"
"Hmph," Trevor scoffed. "Keegan, you're clever, but don't assume that others are all stupid. Did you really think that I
didn't know what you were trying to do by telling the guards that there were rats in the building? By doing so, they would have to
leave the surveillance room and catch them."
Molly would never leave the door to her room open if she was really trying to hook up with the stripper.
Besides, it was simply too coincidental that the guard happened to be on patrol outside the room when he heard Molly screaming
before he barged into the room and saw what happened.
The odds were simply improbable for these two incidents to happen simultaneously.
Trevor bumped into the hotel manager when he was going to the scene after receiving the call from Jaylene. The manager
informed him that a guest named Kane had reported that he found a rat in his room, and the security guards were heading there
with equipment to catch the rat.
Trevor was quick-witted, and it did not take him very long to connect the dots.
He would not have cared if Keegan was alone in this.
However, he noticed how happy Stella got when Molly was in trouble. So, he figured that Stella was also involved in the act.
Trevor only told Keegan to follow him there because he wanted to see if Keegan managed to clean up his own mess. If he had
not, Trevor would have passed the blame onto him and made him admit what he did with Stella.
As childhood friends, Keegan could easily understand what Trevor was thinking.
He gazed at Trevor. "Why don't you try to figure out why we did this if you're so clever?'
Trevor paused before he replied in a deep voice, "What did Molly do?"
"You should ask yourself what you did."
Trevor was confused.
Keegan added irritably, "Have you ever thought about how others would see Stella before giving her special treatment
everywhere?"
Keegan no longer felt the need to feign respect toward Trevor after realizing that Stella had almost gotten into trouble due to his
actions.
"Only some of us know that she's your sister, but what about the others? Who wouldn't say that she's your lover after seeing
what you have done for her? Don't you know that Molly has feelings for you? Don't you know what kind of person she is? Don't
you know that you were also getting Stella involved in this when you tried to cause me trouble?"
Trevor felt a little regretful after listening to what Keegan said and figured that he should not have done that out of impulse. While
he regretted his actions, the fact that Keegan scolded him in his face caused his expression to turn dark." You asshole, who do
you think you're criticizing?"
Keegan shot him a cold glance. "You should be glad that nothing bad happened to Stella tonight. Otherwise, you're going to be in
big trouble!"
Then, he left after he said that.
Trevor was the main reason why that incident took place. None of those things would have happened if he had not stirred things
up, and Keegan thought that Trevor should consider himself lucky that he did not beat him up!
Although Trevor was infuriated by Keegan's attitude, his expression grew even gloomier as soon as he thought about what Molly
did.
