Chapter 1419
Olivia was as quick-witted as ever. She immediately connected the dots and asked, "You're the Saun family's long -lost
daughter?"
"It seems that everyone acknowledges that I am as beautiful as a celestial being," Stella responded.
'How shameless,' Olivia smiled wryly and said to herself. As she thought about Stella's face, she remembered seeing Trevor
from previous events, and it suddenly clicked. 'No wonder he looked oddly familiar; they have the same features.'
Olivia did not believe that Rainee had cheated on Albert. Despite not interacting much with her, she knew Rainee was a force to
be reckoned with. 'She literally gathered evidence about her husband's affair and filed for divorce. I don't think someone like that
would betray her marriage.'
So, she almost instantly accepted the new narrative when she found out that Stella was not Rainee's daughter.
She then recalled Dahlia's eagerness to latch onto the true heiress of the Saun family and burst into laughter.
Dahlia had been fixated on finding a woman for Keegan who was of high social status and deserving of him. She was even
willing to interfere with his marriage to Stella. Yet, it turned out that the person she wanted her son to marry was her former
daughter-in-law, whom she had previously
looked down upon.
'I can't wait to see her face when she finds out,' thought Olivia.
She felt extremely fortunate. She could not believe she had met such a powerful ally when, initially, she had just wanted to get
back at Dahlia.
Olivia thought about how the Saun family had chosen her hotel for the banquet and asked, "Were you the one who suggested
my place for the party?"
"It wasn't exactly a suggestion. It was more of a passing comment," said Stella.
Stella was ruthless toward her enemies but was very kind toward her friends. She was grateful for Olivia's help in spreading the
news about the incident with Andrea and the kindergarten food safety issue.
Hence, she decided to repay her.
Knowing that Stella had done that, Olivia thought, 'No wonder Mrs. Kane Sr. didn't think highly of Dahlia. Stella helps her friends
in secret without asking for anything in return. On the other hand, Dahlia would insist on extracting benefits from others every
chance she gets. While she had indeed provided some help to my husband's career, what I gave back to her far exceeds what
she has done for me.'
Since Stella had handled the matter nicely, Olivia decided to open up and say, "The banquet is a big deal. If the Saun family only
had you as a daughter, then it wouldn't matter where it was held. However, since they have a stepdaughter,
others will think that the Sauns love you less if the event is held in a small setting. You should show up with a bang, so they won't
underestimate you."
Stella was taken aback. "I didn't think of that," she said.
"Who did you talk to about the hotel?" Olivia asked.
"I went to the Saun residence for a meal the other day, and Darcie gave me a few hotel options to choose from.
Coincidentally, your hotel was among them, so I brought it up."
"Do you remember the names of the other hotels she mentioned?"
Stella racked her brain and managed to name two other hotels.
Olivia's gaze darkened when she heard them. She bit her lip, and it took her a while to say, "I don't want to jump to conclusions...
But the hotels you mentioned are about the same scale as mine. In my opinion, the Sauns should've found some of the top
venues in Rivera for this banquet."
'These hotels shouldn't have even made it onto the list of potential venues,' thought Olivia. She had a lot of experience living in
this world. Having met different kinds of people, she tended to analyze them based on her own judgment.
