Chapter 1806
Keegan stared at the leaves for a while before saying, "It's not symmetrical."
Then, with a gentle flick of his finger, he made one leaf fall off. Satisfied, he remarked, "There, that looks better."
Tm going to kill him!' Stella seethed inwardly.
She gritted her teeth and swiftly reclaimed her cherished plant. "You're such a troublemaker!" she snapped.
Keegan grabbed her hand. "It's getting late. Maria can help you out tomorrow."
"Maria doesn’t really know how. She just waters them, but some flowers don't need much water. I haven't been here for a while,
and many of my flowers died. I cant just leave them alone."
Gently cradling the potted succulent, she turned to Keegan with a smile. "Do you think it's beautiful?"
Keegan found himself ensnared in her sparkling eyes.
Stella did not have any makeup on, revealing smooth skin, and her disheveled hair cascaded gently around her ears.
In the breeze, her hair danced, and her long lashes fluttered slightly. Keegan couldn't help but feel his heart race at the sight.
Feeling flustered, he awkwardly averted his gaze. "Yeah," he mumbled.
"Once its roots are in place, you can place it in your office desk. When you're mad, just look at it and see your angry face," Stella
teased with a smile. "It looks so much like you."
Only then did Keegan realize that the plant in the cup was a gourd, the same one from Plants vs. Zombies.
His face immediately darkened.
Just as he was about to leave, Stella stood up. Suddenly, her vision went black, and she stumbled.
Startled, Keegan swiftly grabbed her arm. "Are you okay?" he asked.
Stella stood still for a moment, regaining her composure. "I probably stayed crouched for too long, and my vision went blank
when I stood up suddenly," she explained softly.
With a tense expression, Keegan took the cup from her hand and led her back into the house. "Forget about your plants. You
should go to sleep."
Stella hesitated and questioned, "Are you concerned about me?"
Keegan tightened his lips, taking a moment before replying," You're pregnant."
"What if I'm not?" Stella looked directly into his eyes, catching every nuance. "Would you still be worried?" she asked softly.
Keegan avoided showing his emotions, lowering his gaze.
Ignoring her question, he urged, "Let's head inside before you catch a cold."
A fleeting hint of disappointment crossed Stella's eyes, though she swiftly composed herself.
At least he's showing some concern now. It's progress,' she reflected silently.

In Cordelia's mansion, Corrin was carrying a glass of collagen drink while heading upstairs when she collided with Aurora.
"Corrin, it's so late. Why aren't you in bed yet?" Aurora, who had been raised by Corrin during her younger years, had a good
relationship with her.
Corrin responded gently, "I'll turn in after I take this collagen drink to Mrs. Kane. What about you? Why are you still awake? If
Aurora frowned. Keegan had sold the place where Dahlia used to live. Even though she had returned to the Kane family, she
had no place to stay and was now residing in Cordelia's home.
'Grandma is making it obvious she doesn't want Mom here. How could Mom ask Corrin to make a collagen drink in the middle of
the night? Isn't she worried Grandma will kick her out?'
Aurora said, "Corrin, give it to me. I happen to be going to get something from my mom. I'll help you with it. You should get some
rest now."
Corrin said gently, "Thank you, Aurora. There are still some of this downstairs. I'll fetch you another glass if you feel like drinking.
Aurora waved her hand. "It's okay. You can go to bed now."
Then, she took the glass from Corrin and went to Dahlia's room.
Aurora knocked on the door. There was no response, but she could faintly hear someone speaking from inside.
She twisted the doorknob.
"Are you sure that Stella is pregnant?" 1
