Mr. Kane Got Blacklisted by Eleven Jewell

Chapter 985
'Has he never been in a relationship before?! What the hell was he thinking?! Why would I care about him after he told me that
he would bring another woman?!' thought Stella.
"So, the only reason you didn't let me make food for your friends anymore was because Howard was talking shit about me?" She
asked in a low voice.
Keegan pulled her hand off his head and kissed it. He looked up at her and said softly, "Stella, you know I'm not good with words
sometimes. I wasn't mad at you for giving them gifts. I was mad that you worked so hard to prepare those desserts for them just
to be slandered. Then, when I saw that you burned your hand, I got even angrier. I bought you some ointment for the burn and
even wrote you a note, but you threw it away without looking at it."
Stella was quiet for a while.
"I didn't see any ointment."
Keegan was taken aback for a moment. He then defended himself by aggrievedly saying, "I bought it. I swear. I'm not lying to
you."
Stella believed him because he was not a good liar when drunk. 'If Keegan bought the ointment, and I wasn't the one who threw
it away... that means the previous nanny did it. The nanny was loyal to Dahlia, so it was most likely her. Dahlia must've instructed
her to throw the ointment away, just like how she ordered the nanny to put a box of contraceptive pills on the table for Grandma
to see. Dahlia did not want Keegan to have a good relationship with me since the beginning of our marriage.'
'On the other hand, Keegan was not very good at hiding his emotions. So, seeing Howard again might have triggered those
unpleasant memories and upset him.'
"Our children would be in kindergarten by now if only you knew how to use your words better," Stella sighed.
Aldor was amused by this. 'You're really no better than Mr. Kane, Madam,' he thought.
Stella glanced at him and asked, "What are you laughing at?"
"Mr. Kane probably doesn't want to have a child so early now. He just got into a relationship. So it's likely that he would want to
spend more time with just the two of you, Madam," Aldor joked as he turned the wheel.

Stella did not say a word.
The road to their home was closed when they were halfway back. An accident had occurred on their usual route-a big tree had
fallen on a few passing cars. Although there were no casualties, vehicles could not pass through the road because of how huge
the tree was. They were waiting for someone to come and deal with it. Thus, authorities had to temporarily close off the road until
the mess was cleaned up.
Aldor had no choice but to make a U-turn and take a long detour. Keegan was not feeling too good at that moment. He sat up
and tugged his tie, frowning.
"Do you want to throw up?" Stella asked as she grabbed a plastic bag and opened it.
Keegan shook his head and said, "I'm kinda itchy. When he said that, he could not help but scratch his wrist. Stella was taken
aback. She pulled his hand and pushed the sleeves up, just to see his arm covered in rashes.
She frowned, "Did you eat something you shouldn't have?"
Keegan shook his head. He could not remember what he had eaten. All he knew was that he had to keep scratching. Soon, the
rash spread to his neck. Stella was familiar with this condition. It was like when Keegan triggered his allergies from eating
mangoes in the past.
Aldor changed onto a new route and hurried to the hospital. When they arrived at the hospital, the doctor prescribed Keegan two
medicine bottles and an IV drip.
Stella did not want to take up Aider's time since he lived with his parents, so she sent him away and stayed to take care of
Keegan.
Keegan's body was so itchy that he could not help but scratch himself. When Stella could not hold him down, she would threaten
him and say, "I'll leave if you keep scratching yourself."
Keegan would then hold onto her and not let go. The itch was hard for him to bear; sometimes, he rubbed his body on the bed to
relieve it.
Stella decided it would be easier to just lay on the bed with him and grab his hands. "Just bear with it for a sec. It'll stop itching
after the medicine kicks in."
