Chapter 359
The door was pushed open with a bang, and a woman strode in, with her slim high heels clicking loudly
Celeste turned her head and first saw her black stockings, then lifted gaze to notice the woman’s heavily made up face
She was dressed fashionably, in a leather skirt and short jacket. She had a great figure and looked beautiful and young, probably
not over forty And for some reason, Celeste felt like she recognized her
As Celeste looked the woman up and down, the woman was examining her as well Upon seeing Celeste’s youth, her eyes
revealed a hint of disdain But when she turned to Liam, she stopped in her tracks. After giving Liam a glance, she walked in
Behind her was a thin middle aged man with glasses, wearing combed back shiny hair and a neat suit.
Just as Celeste was wondering who the man was, Ms. Lewis stood up and said, “Mr. Milman”
Ignoring Ms. Lewis, Mr. Milman ran up to pull a chair out for the woman. Then he turned to Ms. Lewis and said, “Ms. Lewis, make
Mrs. Kelley a cup of tea with the best tea leaves”
Celeste frowned
Mrs. Kelley waved impatiently. “I’m not here for tea, Mr. Milman, I want an explanation. You dragged me all the way here, and I
thought you had settled the matter. But they’re actually here to demand compensation. Is this how you handle things?”
Mr. Milman bent over, apologizing profusely, “Please forgive us, we’ll definitely give you a satisfactory answer”
Then he turned around and sternly questioned Ms. Lewis, “Ms. Lewis, what happened? Didn’t you say you could handle it? Are
you even taking your job seriously?”
Ms. Lewis looked embarrassed, “Mr. Milman, these two are Sean’s guardians. They came to the school today to discuss how to
handle the
matter.”
Mr. Milman said grimly. “Our school has never experienced such a vicious incident since its establishment! Classrooms are
where students learn! Sean actually resorted to violence against a classmate in class. This totally violates our school’s motto. If
we indulge him, what will other students do? Learn to fight?”
Mr. Milman kept going, pushing the blame onto Sean with every word.
Ms. Lewis tried to stick up for Sean in a low voice, “Mr. Milman, both sides are to blame, and Sean wasn’t the first to get physical.
Plus, we’ve been unable to contact Sean’s guardians until now. Since they’re here today, I think we can all sit down and discuss
the matter calmly” Mrs. Kelley frowned, “What exactly do you mean? Both sides are to blame?”
As she spoke, she pulled Hunter close to her. Pointing to the wound on his head, she said, “My son’s injury is caused by that
punk who smashed him with a chair, and he required stitches at the hospital! This could impact my son’s future for all we know,
and you’re talking to me about whos responsible?”
Mrs. Kelley’s rebuttal left the young and inexperienced Ms. Lewis speechless.
Mr. Milman glanced at Celeste and Liam, “You all see the severity of Hunter’s injury. Plus, the impact of this incident is awful. The
school board initially decided to expel Sean, but Ms. Lewis has been pleading for him. Since this is his first offense, you can pack
up his stuff and process his withdrawal.”
