My Rich Hot and Infertile or Maybe Not Husband

Chapter 374
Celeste was unhappy, so she woke him up and asked where her gift was.
Then Liam remembered his promise and said he had forgotten.
Celeste was immediately displeased, but she didn’t say anything and kept hinting in the days that followed.
Every morning when Liam wore his wristwatch, Celeste would say, “Mr. Reed, your watch looks nice.”
At first, Liam thought it was a casual compliment, so he said, “It was a birthday gift from my grandmother.”
But the next day, when he wore the watch, she said, “Mr. Reed, your watch looks nice.”
Liam frowned, wondering if her memory was terrible, since she had said the same thing yesterday.
By the third day, Liam was wearing his watch again, and Celeste repeated, “Mr. Reed, your watch looks nice.”
It took a whole week for Liam to realize Celeste wasn’t forgetful, but she was hinting at and blaming him for not bringing her a
gift.
After half a month of hinting. Liam got fed up and arranged for someone to go abroad and buy the watch for her.
Finally, Celeste stopped.
The watch wasn’t essential; she just wanted Liam’s attention.
She didn’t mind him forgetting to buy the watch, but she would have been thrilled if he had bought her a bunch of flowers.
She wasn’t selfish and didn’t want all the attention on herself, but she hoped the person she loved would love her too.
Liam could love whoever he wanted before, but after marrying her, she had to be the only one in his heart.
All her willful behavior was to deepen her imprint on his heart.
But now, she wasn’t as persistent as she was before.
The two were lying in bed, and Liam turned to her, propping himself up, his hand on his head, admiring Sienna’s face.

After he had enough, he slowly said, “A City is the diamond capital, and the highest quality diamonds are found there. Ninety
percent of them come from there, and their diamonds have the best clarity, craftsmanship and many rare colors.”
Celeste said nothing.
Liam leaned in closer, his low voice tempting. “Are you not interested?”
Celeste’s heart pounded, and when she turned to look at him, she realized Liam was teasing her. She glared at him and said, “If
you’re generous, you can get me a diamond necklace. I don’t ask for much, just a necklace with 108 red diamonds, each at least
one carat, and the chain should be made of platinum, the thicker, the better.”
Liam’s helpless, “108 carats, aren’t you scared your neck will break?”
