My Rich Hot and Infertile or Maybe Not Husband

Chapter 754
Jade Barlow was taken aback, loosening his grip and dropping the chair. He swayed, clutching the back of his head, and seeing
his hand covered in blood, he passed out.
Skyler saw Jade Barlow collapse and instantly turned as pale as a ghost. He rushed over, calling out Jade Barlow’s name.
Celeste, soaked in a cold sweat, quickly snatched the flowers from Trisha’s hand, “Why are you out here?”
Snapping back to reality at the sight of blood, Trisha stammered, “Did I... Did I hurt someone?”
Celeste gently patted her on the back, whispering, “You don’t know anything; you were drunk. I was the one who smashed the
vase. Let’s call the cops first.” “Yeah, right, let’s call the police first.”
Trisha rushed back into the room and picked up her phone, but instead of calling the police, she called Nicolas.
Liam was showering while Nicolas was gaming. He wasn’t playing well and lost two games in a row.
His gaming buddy asked, “What’s up with you today? You seem off.”
Nicolas, who usually didn’t chat with his online friends, was feeling a bit down today.
After all, his gaming friends didn’t know him in real life, so he decided to vent.
“I’ve got this friend; he’s been hanging out with a girl, having meals and gaming together. He’s always seen her as a friend. But
when he saw her chasing after other guys, he felt uncomfortable. What do you think is the reason?”
His friend replied, “He likes her, duh. What else could it be?”
Nicolas frowned, “But he doesn’t want to sleep with her; could that still be considered liking?”
His friend took a while to reply, “Are you a virgin or something?”
Nicolas wanted to retort, then realized, “I’m talking about my friend.”
His friend, “So, is your friend a virgin?”
“Of course not, he’s had many girlfriends.”

“Then it’s probably just physical attraction, not emotional.”
Nicolas argued, “He was really good to his ex–girlfriends. He spent money on them, and took them out for fun. Isn’t that
emotional?”
“Did you–your friend ever feel excited when he saw these ex–girlfriends, or anxious when he didn’t see them?”
Nicolas paused.
It seemed... he never did.
Even when he was deeply in love, he didn’t feel the need to see them.
What about Trisha?
He couldn’t sit still when she ignored him for a day.
Stubbornly, he said, “Can it be called liking if I don’t want to sleep with her?”
His friend said, “What... What if someone else sleeps with her?”
Nicolas froze, picturing Trisha sleeping with another man, his face instantly turned grim.
“Dude, how can you not tell if you like someone or not? When you like someone, you’ll be happy just being with them, even
without sex. The first thing that comes to your mind when you truly like someone will never be sex.”
Lowering his voice, Nicolas sounded unsure, “What if I see her as a sister? I also can’t bear to see others hurt her, right? Maybe
I’ve been spending too much time with her recently, and that’s why I’m feeling this way. If I see her less, it should get better.”
“Then just treat her like she’s not your sister. When she gets a boyfriend or even gets married, you’ll get over it.”
