Chapter 2414: Aspirations gone

Aspirant is caught a bit off guard finding that all of Triala's people have retreated immediately.

Not just places that they were attacked or other places that are in the vicinity, rather they retreated from all resource points. He recalled the Telchines back to think and plan for the next step.

He did have an idea of just attacking the other parts of the territory, however he realized that it wouldn't have as big of an impact. Judging by the way Sam deals with stuff, he might just completely change his plan and abandon this place.

Even with all the effort he put that is a definite possibility for people like Sam who are decisive beyond reason.

So, he needed to find a balance here.

He shouldn't make Sam leave, and let him cling on to the hope. But at the same time, he shouldn't let him expand.

That was the whole point of this exercise anyway.

Aspirant and Ronx are now discussing strategy. As much as Aspirant didn't want to talk to him, he is the only one who has a clear idea of this planet's landscape.

"The Telchines are back. They took their original guard positions. But since most of land abominations are dealt with, there is no need to worry."

Aspirant reassured Ronx. Since the beginning Ronx is not comfortable letting all the Telchines stay away from the territory.

Even though a few are more than powerful enough to deal with any crisis they can think of, he is more reassured when all the Telchines are here protecting him. He is a bit scared now. After all, they repeatedly provoked Sam and that guy went ahead and killed an abomination.

They are afraid of his retaliation.

As they were discussing the details on how to proceed forward, one of the Telchine guards

came.

"We spotted Sam."

He reported to Aspirant.

"Where?"

"In this city."

Both Aspirant and Ronx stood up hurriedly.

"What did you say? He is in this city? Now?"

The Telchine nodded and both of them ran out. Aspirant prompted the Telchine to follow him and explain the situation.

He guided them to the window and showed Sam who is hovering the middle of the city. Half a dozen Telchines have surrounded while a bunch of other Telchines are nearby, covering his exits.

Sam waved his hand at Aspirant before he made a move.

Spatial blink got activated and he disappeared from the encirclement. The Telchines reacted quickly and sensed the spatial fluctuations to identify Sam's destination. However, the moment they did, what they saw was not Sam.

Instead a metal card came out of a spatial tear.

*BOOM*

With an explosion, spatial energy accumulated in the surroundings exploded. The nearest Telchne was blow away, with a serious injury on his chest and a bunch of spatial energy invading his body.

Sam reappeared at a different part of the city. There one of the Telchines who are originally running towards the direction of the explosion, halted in his tracks.

Sam gestured him to come and chase him.

The Telchine didn't even hesitate and chased. Both of them flew over a few blocks. Sam suddenly took a turn and went into a narrow alleyway.

Telchine with equally agile moves, entered the valley following behind. However, the moment he entered the valley, he suddenly a weird sensation.

He could perceive threats and right now, they are all around him. Sam halted in his tracks and smiled. His held out a card in his hand, spun it for a moment before throwing it towards the Telchine.

Not knowing what is coimin, the Telchines threw a sphere of flames at the card.

*BOOM*

The explosion enveloped the card, at that moment, the whole alley way lit up, not from the glow of the explosion, but from the glow of the cards that are attached to the walls on either side.

*BOOM*

With a simple explosion, or rather with a few simple and similar explosions. All of them aimed at the Telchine. He got caught up in twenty of his own attacks and all of them being the peak of the divine plane initiation.

Both of the buildings came crumbling and some people even died there. Sam didn't care, he just ran around before disappearing into thin air. He reappeared at a different spot. Another Telchine was targeted.

Even before the Telchine could react, Sam made a move. It was a direct attack. Sam didn't even use full power though. The Telchine managed to block the attack and attacked Sam in

return.

However, Sam just increased his speed with partial fusion and threw a card at the incoming spear.

*BOOM*

With an explosion, the card exploded and the force of the spear has been nullified. At the same time, the building from which Ronx and Aspirant are witnessing the whole spectacle, suddenly trembled.

*BOOM*

The arch of the mansion where two Telchine guards are standing exploded, with the full force aimed at the two guards.

This time, they are not dead, they are injured and crashed:

the ground.

"What the fuck is happening?"

Aspirant muttered. He couldn't even say it out loud. His voice was low and concerning. An ominous gloom surrounded him.

Sam didn't stop his activities though, whenever he made a move, a telchine either fell into his trap or catalyzed the destruction of another Telchine.

Within few minutes, ten of the guards are dead. Whenever the group tried to surround him, Sam always escaped with spatial element. It is not like there is no one with spatial element. However, no matter who it was, they never managed to hinder Sam's movements.

This prompted all the telchines to group together. They didn't spread out anymore. At the same time, Ronx gave out orders. He made sure the people here evacuated immediately so that they won't end up as collateral damage.

When all the Telchines are gathered in the center of the city, Sam is nowhere to be seen. He disappeared as if he hasn't even appeared here to begin with.

After five minutes he finally appeared.

Sam took out a card and gently placed it on the road before turning around and walking away. He then arrived at the entrance which doesn't have any guards anymore and placed another

card there.

Both cards started glowing brightly. At the same time, several spots in the city started

glowing as well. All the glows are in card shape. They are all camouflaged and attached to various spots in the city.

Of course, neither Sam's escape nor the glowing cards escaped the sight of Aspirant and other people. However, the moment the glow appeared, they had an ominous feeling. A sense of

crises enveloped them.

Aspirant was about to bark some orders, but it was already too late.

As the cards glowed, they acted as nodes and created a formation around the Telchines.

At the same time, another formation was created around the mansion and third formation was around the city.

Sam who was walking held a card between his two fingers. He tossed it into the sky and aimed his handgun at it. He put in a special bullet. A bullet with liquid divine energy. Not just

spiritual energy, but Divine energy of Yanwu.

*BOOM*

The explosion was clear and the golden flames looked like a flaming golden cloud in the sky as

the card exploded. At that moment...

All the glowing cards in the formation around the Telchines glowed with the same golden

glow. The golden flames spread out and that is not the end of it. They all concentrated in the center covering all the Telchines and then the whole formation exploded.

*BOOM*

Surprisingly, the flames didn't spread out. The golden flames just circulated within the formation and melted everything. Every single thing. All that was left was a puddle of lava.

At the same time, the mansion is also emitting a similar glow.

A glow that made him feel extremely troubling.

The golden flames suddenly burned the whole mansion and created another explosion.

*BOOM*

After that explosion is done, the cards started glowing all over the city walls. Unlike the previous times, the flames didn't cover within the formation, rather they extended out.

With an explosion, the walls collapsed. Finally, the shock spread all over the place and the cities defenses collapsed completely.

Sam walked away without turning back.

All the upperclass of the Ronx city has died. The defenses are gone. Telchines are dead too.

He wanted to kill the people of the city as well. In fact, that would have been easier. One

formation would have dealt with it.

However, he needed those people.

Triala's territory has too few people. Now with these additional members, things will be a lot

more easier.

He went back to Triala's territory and informed her.

"Ronx territory is down. Go and recruit those people. Open up all the resource points. I am

sure you can map out the area connecting the three territories.

From now on, all of that area will be in our control."
