Chapter: 490
“What books?” Sabrina asked.
As Tyrone handed her the books, Sabrina’s eyes widened as she took in the titles.
They were all books on how to be a father.
With a hint of skepticism, she asked, “Can you finish reading all these books?”
“Don’t worry. We still have a few months left. I’ll finish them,”
Tyrone reassured her.
While they were talking, Tyrone’s phone began to ring.
“I’m sorry, I need to take this call,” he said before stepping out onto the terrace.
A young man’s voice came from the other end of the line. “After Galilea woke up, she left the hospital and vanished.”
Knowing Galilea’s intentions, Tyrone feared she might eventually reveal the truth to Sabrina, which could devastate her.
He couldn’t take the risk of leaving Sabrina in the country.
“Hurry up and find her!” he ordered.
Tyrone didn’t make his way to the office until Sabrina was done with her breakfast.
As Sabrina fielded the incoming call, she was resting against the bed’s backrest, engrossed in a book.
A couple of books on pregnancy and child rearing that she had bought were on the nightstand.
Fear of Tyrone discovering these books in the past kept her ignorant.
But now, she finally had time to peruse them.
There was no name displayed on the incoming call. Sabrina’s new device was void of old contact information.
She picked up the call and greeted, “Hello?”
A female voice echoed through the receiver scornfully. “Sabrina, are you very proud now? Tyrone made your relationship public,
and you are pregnant. Do you feel happy?” ©
It was Evelyn.
Tyrone had taken legal actions against her and had her fired from the branch company.
Yet, due to the legal process taking its time, Evelyn was not in custody.
On the day Sabrina was discharged, Evelyn was at the hospital. She saw Tyrone helping Sabrina into his car, jealousy seething
within her.
