Trenton turned, heading toward a bookshelf. He raised his hand, pressing a part

Millie blinked in surprise, then promptly followed Trenton into the room. The

against the cushions, his eyes closed in evident weariness.
“Miss Brown, I apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your care for Mr.

Approaching the sofa, Millie was about to reach out and assess Marcus “ even
