Fina's awakened skills are mostly control-based.

The only three skills that she could currently use at the master level are the ones she displayed before when we were fighting against Namia. It was [Confusion], [Bewitching Fog], and [Illusion].

As a remnant of having two poison element beasts, she could also use a little bit of [Poison Fog] which she displayed a little when Noir surprised us at the Northern frontline.

"So basically, you're leaning towards support rather than being a direct fighter, just like Ember is now."

Fina nodded her head in agreement with my words. Her physical ability was pretty low, after all, considering that she was a human and not a monster before.

"Do you have a specialization already?"

"Not yet. I've checked before, but my stats were still generalized. I was waiting for your input on what specialization to take after all."

"I see. Do you have any desired specializations?"

Fina dropped her gaze to the floor as she started thinking. It didn't take her long before she came up with an answer.

"I'll go with Control Specialization then. Most of my current skills lean toward that category after all."

With our current lineup, we have Igni as the frontline fighter, given her tough body and powerful AOE damage. Fang was geared more toward picking off lone enemies, so she's a mid-range guard in terms of position. Or the guerilla troop, perhaps.

Ember was now moving from general firepower support to multipurpose heavy artillery. I guess she got her inspiration from the gun and from my anecdotes, as she was heavily copying what I told her from stories before. She could also provide defense, so she's a pretty versatile supporter.

"It fits, I think. We don't have a control specialist right now, after all."

I nodded my head, agreeing to Fina's decision.

"Then, let's finish the specialization first. You know how to do it?"

I don't actually have an idea how a monster's specialization goes, but even without my input, it seems like Fina's fine.

"I helped Judy and Yorm with their specialization after all. I know the drill,"

She muttered with a warm smile before closing both eyes. Shortly after, energy particles started forming around her, encircling her entire body. I could also see some energy leaking from inside her and re-entering through different points.

"So this is how a specialization goes..."

It was my first time seeing one in person.

After a minute passed, Fina finally heaved a deep sigh and opened her eyes. She tried opening and closing her fist, checking her body's state.

"Alright. The specialization seemed to be successful!"

As she said, I could definitely feel that her energy level increased, as depicted by the 2,750 that appeared above her head. Other than that, I could also see that her body's movements had lost their previous sharpness. Her physical ability dropped even lower than before.

With her like this, she would definitely be a backline troop that needs protection from the others. I'm worried about what would happen to her if we accidentally got separated, like what happened last time.

But as the tamer, it should be my job to fill up her lacking parts.

"Fina, first, we'll practice all your still unusable skills. Once you reach proficiency with all of them, copy Yorm and Judy with their skill-chaining exercise."

"Got it. Then, I'll go over there to train for now."

She pointed toward a vacant space right outside the villa's fences.

"Ah, also, pass on to everyone that we'll change our training menu after having lunch!"

Since I forgot to mention it earlier, I shouted at Fina's slowly fading back. I saw her raise a thumb in response, so she definitely heard what I said.

"Well then... What should I do?"

They all had pretty simple training plans for the morning. A warmup of sorts. For the afternoon, I plan to teach and train them individually on some of their problematic skills that they haven't even mastered yet. For that, we would need enough energy to last the day.

"Then cooking it is!"

Since I have nothing better to do, I went to the kitchen of the villa and started rummaging around. They had complete cooking utensils and even had enough food to last us a month stored inside a cold underground cellar.

"For now..."

Since we would be expending more energy in the afternoon, something invigorating would be a great idea. I would love to have some rice recipes, but there's only wheat bread available. I brought it out together with a large slice of meat and select vegetables.

Something easy to eat and quick to make, appetizing, and invigorating. With that idea as the base, I started cooking. contemporary romance

It took hours to finish, but I completed a full course for them. It was a meal consisting of a mysterious meat and vegetable soup, a salad with mayonnaise-like dressing, a sandwich with lettuce-like things and thinly sliced meat, and for the gluttons, large slices of well-done steak.

It was a pretty chaotic arrangement, but given the stomach capacity of the girls, I guess this amount is still lacking. Since I still have some time remaining, I took out a large piece of meat from my [Spatial Storage] and smeared it with seasonings. I then placed it over the fire, creating several slices across the meat's surface to let the heat reach deeper inside.

It was spit-fired barbecue style, or more like a whole roast. Either way, I think this much should be enough for the girls.

Just as I was setting up the table, I could already hear footsteps approaching. It seems like lunchtime already came without my notice. Fina was the first to enter, followed by Judy and Yorm. Then... Followed by three dirty rags.

"You all... How did you get that dirty from a sparring match?"

Looking at them, their clothes were in tatters. Ember was the worst, as she was covered entirely in mud for some reason. Fang was a little better, but her clothes were burned all over, probably already useless. Igni was the cleanest, but her clothes were full of slits as if they had been passed through a shredder.

"Go take a bath and change your clothes before eating!"
