Taming my Monster Girl Harem from Scratch

Yu Na continued to talk, seemingly endlessly, for over twenty minutes. It was fortunate that I was not expected to give a speech here, since I really hate those. Anyway, after Yu Na's long preface, the main event finally came to be.

"And now, let's proceed with the ceremonial placing of rings!"

Finally, it was our turn. I quickly stood up, heading to the middle of the stage, and stood proudly.

"First, we have our guest from the Cleaver Kingdom, Princess Hazel."

Following Yu Na's call, Hazel stood up from her seat, walking forward with controlled steps. Her expression was the same as before—a thin smile—but I could feel her being nervous and all that.

After she reached my side, I could finally see her face-to-face.

Hazel was a head shorter than me, so she had to raise her chin and look up just to see me eye-to-eye. Her eyes, the same color as her hair, were flickering with a mix of fear and hope.

"Don't worry, you'll be fine."

I whispered to her as I took the ring I made for her out of my pocket. Well, I made it seem like it came from my pocket, but I actually opened up my [Spatial Storage] to retrieve it.

After opening the ring case, the simple ring with a brown gem came into view, causing everyone's gasps to echo.

"...?"

I wasn't sure why they gasped, but anyway, I took the ring out and held it gently between my index finger and thumb. After returning the case to my coat's pocket, I gently raised my hand forward, waiting for Hazel's left hand.

Knowing the drill, she slowly raised her hand and placed it above my left hand. I smiled gently as I slowly slid the ring into her finger. Although I was nervous that I had messed up the size, it was fortunate that it fit her finger perfectly.

Princess Hazel stared at the ring, especially at the gem sitting on top, and had her eyes open wide.

"P-President Will... This is!"

Before she could raise her voice, I placed my finger against her lips. Now's not the time to chat, after all.

"You're my fiancee now, so stop with the President thing. If you have questions, save it for later."

I winked at her playfully, causing her to blush slightly. I guess she realized the blunder that she was about to make earlier.

After that, I gently led her by the hand back to her seat before returning to my center stage position. While standing, I placed the empty ring case back into my [Spatial Storage] and took out the next ring.

"Next, we have President Will's First Tame, Ember."

After she was called, Ember stood up and walked forward slowly, careful not to trip on her long white dress.

Ember was in her most natural state at the moment, meaning she wasn't holding back her figure. Her bombastic appearance was most probably the reason for about 50% of the envious gazes that had been prickling the back of my head since earlier.

"Master...!"

Ember stood before me, standing at a height that was around my eye level. Well, she was wearing quite tall heels, so I guess that's about right. Seeing the bliss in her expression, I guess she was as excited about this as I was.

I pulled out the ring's case, opening it and revealing the pale pink diamond that sparkled as the light sources moved around above. Again, the audience let out a gasp of surprise, puzzling me even more. Don't tell me, did the rings I made have some sort of issue?contemporary romance

Ignoring the audience's reactions, I did the same as with Hazel, extending my hand and waiting for Ember to offer her left hand. Without a hint of hesitation, Ember extended her hand forward. I gently held her soft hands, sliding the ring into her ring finger, causing a wide smile to appear on her face.

Judging from her expression, she must be almost exploding with joy. If not for the current location we are in, she'd probably jump to embrace me on impulse. To let her calm down a little, I led her back to her seat before returning to the center of the stage once again.

The same thing happened to the rest of the girls, too.

When I revealed Fang's ring, with a deep violet gem on it, it caused the audience to gasp again. Aren't they getting tired of giving the same reaction?

Unlike Ember, who could hide her emotions perfectly, Fang was as easy to read as an open book. Her tail wagged wildly, showing how happy she was, as her ears stood in attention. It was cute in its own way, causing me to unconsciously pat her head.

For Igni, she was able to keep her poker face and even control her tail. Still, her eyes glowed after seeing the ring I made for her, with a red gem the same color as her scales. Of course, the crowd still gave the same reaction, making me feel that they were just playing with me.

Fina was probably the one that caused everyone to forget to even breathe. Her innate succubus powers caused her to release a seductive air the more heightened her emotions got. As a result, most of the men in the VIP seats couldn't help but clamp their legs, trying to hide "something" from view. Fortunately, nobody paid attention to their little antics.

When the ring was revealed, Fina's eyes turned gentler. After I placed it on her ring finger, she lightly whispered.

"I am glad I had you, Will."

I'm not sure what she meant by that, but I simply smiled back at her before leading her back.

Minerva, unlike the rest, seemed extremely natural. She walked forward with a poker face smile but almost tripped on empty air. This caused me to chuckle, causing her to blush wildly from a mix of embarrassment and joy.

Hekate was the complete opposite and looked extremely nervous in the gazes from all over. However, as soon as I held her hand, she slowly relaxed and let the joy welling from within her chest take over her mind. If this was an anime, then hearts would be floating nonstop above her head.

Fatima was next and seemed to be casual about it. She didn't get too excited, nor did she feel nervous. However, as soon as I put the ring on her finger, her face got close, and she landed a soft kiss against my cheeks. A cheeky smile, as if a kid who succeeded with her prank, covered her face.

For Yorm and Judy, they were neutral. After all, they were the only ones among the girls that I hadn't earned the hearts of yet. Still, it was obvious they were happy to receive the rings from me. I guess it's not entirely hopeless, then?
