The Almighty Dragon General

Chapter 1478
There was no turning back.
James really had no way out of the situation anymore.
With the group of supporters standing behind him, he would have to push on down this path unswervingly.
He nodded seriously and vowed, “I won’t let you down.”
With James’ word of reassurance, Delainey felt at ease.
The three had a simple meal.
After the meal, James hurriedly left and returned to the Red Flame Army base.
Apart from James, Henry and Nathaniel also gathered in the Emperor’s office in the Red Flame Army base.
James sorted out the internal list of the personnel of the Red Flame Army.
Apart from Henry and Nathaniel, everyone else was suspicious.
All of them were from different factions of either Orient Commerce, the Gu Sect, or the King.
James looked at the list in his hands.
On the list, there were two three-star generals.
One was Graydon, the deputy commander who was promoted unknowingly. The other was Braxton Micah, who temporarily
managed the Red Flame Army after the death of the previous Emperor.
“James, when do you plan to act?” Henry was eager to spring into action.
Nathaniel reminded, “Emperor, you have to think this through. There are more than twenty people, of which are not ordinary
people. They are all generals, and if you take action, the Red Flame Army will be emptied out. Where are you going to find
people to fill these vacancies?”
James thought for a while and said, “From the Southern Plains.”

The only people he trusted were from the Southern Plains.
Although there were internal conflicts in the Southern Plains with other people from other factions, he was very familiar with most
of the people there.
“Even if you want to, the other departments won’t approve it.”
“Let’s not worry too much first. We’ll fire our first shot.”
James pointed at Graydon’s name and said, “Starting with him. Henry, notify the one thousand Red Flame Army soldiers we
brought from the Southern Plains to collect their weapons. We’ll act at night. Arrest Graydon and interrogate him. We’ll convict
him in one night.”
“Alright.” Henry stood up, turned, and left the office.
James continued with more instructions. “General Carlson, contact the courthouse. After we capture him, we’ll take him straight
to the courthouse. We’ll put him on trial and sentence him. After he’s convicted, I’ll be on the watch out to see who dares to step
forward to interfere.
“Understood. I’ll go make arrangements immediately.”
Nathaniel immediately walked out of the office.
James also followed him out.
Henry quickly summoned the troops.
In just ten minutes, one thousand elite soldiers of the Red Flame Army assembled.
These one thousand soldiers were recruited by Henry from the Southern Plains and had accompanied James to Cansington in
the past.
They were absolutely loyal to James.
Hundreds of military vehicles gathered in the open field of the Red Flame Army base. The one thousand soldiers were also
assembled.
James walked over in his military robe.

“Commander!”
An organized and loud greeting sounded.
Henry rushed over in his military uniform. He straightened up, saluted, and greeted, “Emperor, one thousand soldiers from the
Red Flame Army have been assembled! We’re awaiting your next orders!”
James looked at the troops and ordered, “Depart!”
“Left turn, march...”
The troops set off quickly and boarded the military vehicles.
Afterward, the hundred military vehicles drove out of the Red Flame Army Military Region.
Many forces had eyes on the Red Flame Army.
As soon as the troops were dispatched, the news spread like wildfire.
At Peace Mansion...
It was already eleven at night, but the King was not asleep yet.
Wearing a set of baggy pajamas, he was reading a book in his study.
Suddenly, a young woman pushed open his door and walked into the study.
The woman was about twenty-seven to twenty-eight years old. She was dressed in a sky-blue plaid dress and had curly, blonde
hair.
“Dad.”
The woman walked into the room and called out.
“Mia.”
The King put down his book and looked at the woman that walked into the study. He smiled and asked, What’s the matter?
Why’re you up so late?”

Mia Thybaut walked over and sat opposite the King.
“Dad, I’ve been studying abroad all these years, and we haven’t spent much quality time together. How about we settle abroad
together after you retire?”
The King smiled and said, “Mia, that’s wishful thinking. In my position, even if I retire, I won’t be able to leave the Capital.”
