The Almighty Dragon General

Chapter 1578
Thea had no other wishes.
She simply wanted to use the limited time she had left to have a child with James as proof of their love. That alone was enough
for her.
James looked at her and made a vow. “I will cure you. I may have lost Crucifier, but I’ll find it and help you extend your life span
by returning your blood to normal.”
Thea fell silent.
She knew her body’s condition well.
Her blood had already fused with the Spirit Turtle’s blood.
Her blood had been engulfed by the Spirit Turtle’s blood, and the two types of blood fused into one.
After she absorbed the power within the Spirit Turtle’s blood, her blood mutated and could no longer regenerate. She could only
rely on her body’s existing blood, which would not last her very long.
No matter how miraculous Crucifier was, it would not be capable of helping her blood regenerate.
There was no other blood like hers on earth.
There was no one who could transfuse blood to her.
However, she did not want to shatter James’ hope. Hence, she said nothing.
Hope was necessary for one to continue living.
Without hope, one would lose all motivation.
She did not want James to end up like that.
For the next few days, James stayed with Thea in the Black Dragon Palace and did not go anywhere else.

Delainey read the room and left so as to not disturb the pair. The following day, she left the Southern Plains and returned to the
Mount Thunder Sect.
On the third day, the Omniscient Deity showed up at the Black Dragon Palace in the Southern Plains.
James sat in the living room and looked at the Omniscient Deity opposite him. He asked, “Have you obtained the information I
needed?”
“Yeah.” The Omniscient Deity nodded.
James asked excitedly, “Where’s the person I’m looking for?”
The Omniscient Deity replied, “He’s being protected.”
“Who’s protecting Xavion?”
“The Yada Sect.”
James was taken aback by the answer and inquired again, “What kind of force is the Yada Sect?”
“You’ll understand once you return to the Capital and ask the King.”
Upon hearing the Omniscient Deity’s reply, James immediately understood.
The Yada sect must have been the King’s force.
However, he was perplexed.
The King had colluded with Halvor even though it was not in his best interest to do so. Why exactly would the King protect
Xavion? Being unable to obtain information from Xavion would affect not only Halvor’s interest but also the King’s.
James would have to return to the Capital and ask the King if he wanted to find out.
“By the way...”
James suddenly remembered something and asked, “I still have one more question I’d like to ask you.”

The Omniscient Deity made a gesture for James to proceed and said, “According to the rules, you should tell me your question
first. If I have the information you need, I’ll state a condition. If I don’t, I’ll investigate the matter as soon as possible and make the
exchange with you once I have the information.”
“Where’s Lucjan?” asked James.
While James was in Malgudi, Lucjan had taken Crucifier and the Blade of Justice from him.
Without the Blade of Justice, his strength had significantly reduced.
He had to retrieve the Blade of Justice.
Moreover, he needed Crucifier to help heal Thea’s injuries.
“I know his whereabouts.”
After hearing James’ question, the Omniscient Deity said, “I have the answer you need, but you must first fulfill my request.”
James looked at him and asked, “What do you need?”
“It’s very simple. I’d like to ask you a question.”
“Go ahead.”
The Omniscient Deity thought for a while and said, “You’ve been around the Southern Plains for a long time and only left for
Cansington last year. Have you ever been to the Prince of Orchid Mountain’s ancient tomb during your stay in the Southern
Plains?”
