The Almighty Dragon General

Chapter 1608
Tyrus had utterly defeated James. After reflection, James realized that his level of martial arts was abysmal.
Unwilling to waste his breath on this subject, he simply cut to the chase, “Where’s Xavion? I’d like to see
him.”
Legend pointed at the stairs and said, “He’s upstairs. Here, follow me.”
Saying that, he stood up and said, “Please.”
James stood up and followed him upstairs.
Upon arriving on the second floor, James noticed there was much research equipment one could only find in a research
laboratory.
Meanwhile, a man was busy smashing his fingers on the computer.
“Xavion, someone’s here to meet you,” Legend said.
“Hold on a second, will you?”
Xavion did not even lift his head.
Legend said smilingly, “He’s been this way ever since he came here. Sometimes, he’d even skip his meals. because of work.”
James walked toward Xavion and had a glimpse at the monitor screen.
However, as there was only unrecognizable data on it, James could not understand anything at all. So, he waited patiently.
Soon, an hour had passed.
After Xavion was done with his work, he turned to look at James and asked puzzledly. “Who are you?”
James looked at Xavion. He was slightly different from what he had imagined.
Since Xavion was the owner of a vast conglomerate, he should have been wearing a suit and tie.

However, the Xavion before him was wearing short sleeves. He had an unkempt, bearded appearance, and he looked a little
dispirited as if he had not slept in days.
James looked at Xavion and said smilingly, “Hello, my name’s James.”
“Huh? Which James?”
Xavion was momentarily confused.
James was not yet the Emperor when Xavion left the Capital. So, he could not recognize him
immediately. After some time, he exclaimed, “Could it be that you’re the Dragon General of the Southern
Plains?”
James nodded and smiled, “The one and only.”
“How do you do, Dragon General?”
Xavion extended his arm.
James clasped his hand and said, “Let’s discuss things downstairs.”
“Sure, let me change my clothes first.”
“Mhm.”
James headed downstairs first.
He waited for approximately twenty minutes before Xavion was ready.
He was now wearing a suit, and his beard was shaved. He looked much more spirited than a moment ago.
James pointed at the sofa and said, “Have a seat.”
Xavion took his seat.
He guessed something must have happened for James to be here.

“Dragon General, did you come for the information in my hands?” He looked at James.
“Mhm.” James nodded. “A lot has happened while you were in here...”
James briefly narrated the chain of events that unfolded-the bankruptcy of Blue Tech Corporation, Delilah’s abduction, and his
being wanted by practically every force there was out there.
“You may not know this, but the world is descending into chaos because of the technological breakthrough you made.
I came here to express my wish to cooperate with you.”
Xavion knew about this.
