The Almighty Dragon General

Chapter 1641
Mhm."
Tapio nodded.
The elder from the Blithes stomped on a stone slab, walked another three steps, and repeated his actions.
The second stone slab sank, and the previous one rose back up.
The elder ignored the first slab’s movement and continued on to the next stone slab.
About ten minutes passed.
A small click echoed.
The stone slabs in the center area suddenly receded into the floor, and a 5-meter wide passage appeared.
Seeing the passage, Donovan walked over ecstatically.
James followed closely behind him.
They reached the passage entrance and peered down into it.
There were stairs leading underground inside the passage’s entrance.
Donovan took the lead.
James was the next to enter, followed by Tapio and the other Blithe family members.
After traveling for a short while, they eventually reached a dead end.
James looked at Donovan and asked, "How do we proceed?"
Donovan looked at the floor plan.
As soon as he took it out, Tapio snatched it away.
"W-What are you doing?!"

Donovan roared furiously, and a powerful energy erupted from his body.
He reached out and tried to snatch the floor plan back.
Tapio thrust his palm forward in response.
Their palms clashed.
Donovan was sent flying and slammed into a stone wall.
The stone wall was sturdy.
Although a deep concave crack had formed, it did not collapse.
Donovan slid to the ground and coughed out a mouthful of blood.
Tapio picked up the floor plan and looked at it.
James also leaned over to have a glimpse at the floor plan.
The floor plan was extensive and mapped out many paths and some mechanisms that had been built into the mausoleum.
After skimming over it it, Tapio casually threw it back to Donovan, who had just gotten up from the ground.
"Come with me, James." Tapio walked to a stone wall ahead and slammed his palm into it.
Suddenly, a small, secret door appeared.
Tapio stretched out his hand and pressed his palm into the secret door.
At that moment, the stone wall blocking their path slowly parted.
As the stone door opened, yellow mist wafted out from behind it.
Tapio quickly shouted a warning, "Be careful. It’s highly poisonous."
James immediately held his breath and backed away simultaneously.
Tapio and James reacted to the dangerous mist immediately.

However, some of the Blithe family members were slow to notice the imminent danger and found themselves surrounded by the
yellow mist.
Upon coming in contact with the strange mist, their bodies immediately began to self-combust.
Donovan wanted to rescue them, but alas, it was already too late.
Those that fell victim to the mist all burned up on the spot as if they were pyres.
In less than ten seconds, there was nothing left of them but ashes.
Seeing this scene, James drew in a sharp breath.
"What a ghastly mist."
Tapio reminded him, "King Quavon was the strongest martial artist to ever exist in the past millennium. He ruled the world and
had countless talented men serving him.His mausoleum is filled to the brim with a variety of deadly traps.Every mechanism
planted here can easily take out a powerful martial artist.Without knowledge of the floor plan, anyone who enters this place will
be walking to their doom."
James looked at Tapio and asked, "Is this floor plan reliable? Tapio nodded and said, "Judging from the current situation, it
should be pretty reliable."
"Let’s go."
While speaking, Tapio began to advance.James followed behind him.
Donovan did not have the time to worry about his recently deceased family members and quickly followed them.
The group entered King Quavon's Mausoleum.
Half an hour after they entered the mausoleum, a figure appeared on top of the mountain.
It was Sky who had rushed to the location.
As soon as he reached the mountaintop, he noticed the unsealed passage and rushed in without hesitation.
Soon, he reached the first checkpoint.

Unfortunately for Sky, the stone wall had already gone back to being closed.
Since he did not have the floor plan, he had no idea where the mechanism was hidden.
He could not advance any further from that point.
