Chapter 1830
Upon seeing Thea safe and sound, Thomas breathed a sigh of relief. Then, he walked over to her and asked, “Are you alright,
Thea?”
Thea shook her head slightly and said, “I’m alright.”
“Was it the Prince of Orchid who saved you?” Thomas asked puzzledly.
Thea nodded slightly and said, “Yes, he found me.”
After she spoke, she glanced at Sky who was dismayed. She had witnessed the entire right from afar. Thea did not expect
Langston to be so powerful that even Sky, a ninth-rank grandmaster, did not stand a chance against him.
Sky looked at Thea with a darkened expression. Originally, he planned to abduct Thea to coerce James into doing his bidding.
However, he did not expect Thomas and Langston to show up. He did not dare to stop Thea from leaving.
“Leave.”
After he said that, he turned to leave.
Thomas said, “Since everything’s now resolved, we should get going.”
“Mhm.” Thea nodded.
Then, they turned to leave.
However, before they could leave, a group of young men appeared. In the lead was a man wearing a golden robe with long silver
hair. He exuded a powerful aura and had an apathetic look on his face.
Thomas and the others stopped and looked at the people who blocked their path.
Tobias whispered, “They are from the Void Sect.”
Thomas could easily tell that they were from the Void Sect. After all, they were being too high profile lately. He walked over to the
man with silver hard and asked coldly, “I’m Thomas Caden. Is something the matter?”
The man pointed at Thea, who froze upon seeing this.
“M-Me...r
“That’s right.”
The man walked over to her and introduced himself, “Hello, Thea, my name is Kaj Waseem, a senior disciple of the Void Sect.
We came here for you today, and we’d like you to come with us.”
Hearing this, Tobias and Lucjan brandished their swords.
Kaj glanced at the two of them.
In an instant, two men appeared before behind him and charged toward Tobias and Lucjan.
Their fists collided.
Boom!
Powerful energy shredded through the air, and Tobias and Lucjan were sent flying and collapsed to the ground, vomiting a
mouthful of blood.
Upon seeing this, Thomas was stunned. Though he had heard of the Void Sect’s overwhelming strength, he had never
personally witnessed it himself. Now that this had happened before him, a chill ran down his spine. After consuming the dragon’s
blood, Tobias and Lucjan had reached the peak of the Ninth Stair. They should be considered some of the greatest martial artists
in the world, yet they were defeated so easily.
After Kaj’s subordinates sent the two flying, they stepped back and returned to their respective positions behind Kaj.
Meanwhile, Kay said smilingly, “Ms. Thea, we don’t mean you harm. Several weeks ago, your husband, James Caden, defeated
a disciple of the Void Sect. He has greatly humiliated us. The elders of the Void Sect are determined to defeat James. So, please
come with us. If James accepts the challenge, we assure you that your safety is guaranteed no matter the outcome of the battle.”
Thomas stepped forward and said, “I believe this is inappropriate. Thea’s baby is due soon. Why don’t I go in her stead?”
Kaj glanced at him coldly and said, “I was speaking to Ms. Thea. What makes you think you have the right to interrupt our
conversation?” “You!” Thomas was enraged. “Hmph! I’m curious to see if the Void Sect is as powerful as the rumors say!”
