The Almighty Dragon General

Chapter 2100
James sighed.
Though this was only just the beginning, the seriousness of the situation made him fearful of what might occur next.
The night passed silently.
The next day, James stood at the gates of Wyrmstead Palace.
Black rain was still pouring from the sky as puddles of murky water dotted the ground. James could vaguely see a black aura
materializing from the water, which soared to the sky and simply lingered there.
Silence filled the air.
Standing by the gates, James stared at the puddles on the ground and the dark clouds on the horizon. He could clearly sense
the black aura resonating with his body.
His pores absorbed the dark aura lingering in the air as his physical strength slowly increased. He knew this was providence to
him. However, this was deadly to humans. Not everyone possessed a demonic body like him that could increase its strength by
absorbing anything. “A penny for your thoughts, Darling?”
Thea walked over to him and stood by his side.
James looked at the rainwater and the plants that were corroded in the distance, whispering, What’s the way forward for
humans? Why is this happening? Could there be someone behind this?”
James had many questions on his mind. However, no one could provide him with any answers.
Clack! Clack! Clack!
At that moment, the sound of footsteps could be heard.
James turned his head to see a man approaching from a distance away. The man was wearing a black overcoat and a straw hat
that shielded his body from the corrosive rainwater.

Upon seeing the man, James had a bad feeling. Though this was Wyrmstead Palace, this man was able to approach without
being detected.
He stared at the approaching man.
Soon, the man was only ten meters away from him.
The man removed his straw hat to reveal his face. He looked twenty years of age and had an ordinary appearance.
“Who are you?”
James furrowed his eyebrows.
The man glanced at James before looking at Thea. Wearing a composed look on his face, he asked, “Are you James and
Thea?”
“Yes.”
James answered truthfully.
“My name is Magnus Quinnton.”
“Uh-huh.”
James nodded slightly and said, “Do you have any business with me?”
Magnus, on the other hand, said coldly, “I came from the Overworld.”
Upon hearing this, alarm bells began ringing inside James’ mind.
Magnus continued, “I have a junior disciple called the Son of Heaven. Though he came here before me, he perished in the
hands of an earthling.
He said nonchalantly as if the matter did not concern him at all.
