The Spirit Tool went on, “According to my understanding, the Burial Jade once belonged to someone. Targwyn was his surname,
and he was called the Guardian of the Tomb. He was extremely powerful. At one point in time, he was the most prominent figure
in the world. However, for unknown reasons, he vanished along with the Targwyn family.
“I never imagined we’d come across the Guardian of the Tomb’s descendant in this small Land of Taval.”
The Spirit Tool could not stop himself from lamenting. The descendants of the most powerful person in history had fallen into
such dire straits.
James asked in his heart, “How does the Burial Jade relate to the seal of the world, then? Why did the Burial Jade show visions
when the seal became loose?”
The Spirit Tool explained, “The Burial Jade was manifested from the consciousness of countless cultivators after they died. The
graves where they were laid to rest were shaped by the world itself. The current seal on Earth was also created by the world
sealing itself off. Naturally, there are some connections between them. However, I have no idea what sort of connections there
might be.”
Hearing that, James was bewildered.
“The current seal on Earth right now, is that not related to the Demon Race?”
“It’s not.” The Spirit Tool explained, “Back then, the Demon Race appeared on Earth because there was something that attracted
them. However, when the Demon Race almost took over Earth, they chose to leave Earth. As to why they wanted to leave Earth,
I’m not sure. Also, the seal was not placed by the Demon Race, but by the world sealing itself.
“I only know that the world sealed itself off to protect the Earth. Considering that during the conflict that followed the Demon
Race’s invasion of Earth, the Earth was almost completely destroyed. I suppose this time the Earth decided to seal off itself in
order to rest and recuperate.”
The Spirit Tool revealed a lot of secrets.

In the past, James had always thought that the Demon Race was responsible for the seal on Earth right now.
He never expected that it was the world sealing itself off.
The Spirit Tool continued, “The four keys to open the seal are also formed by the world naturally. They are priceless treasures.
However, because you are still weak, you’re unable to activate the power of the four keys. Furthermore, the seal has yet to be
broken. The four keys’ power has yet to be manifested. Until the seal is broken, the power of the four keys will not be revealed.”
Once again, the Spirit Tool provided James with some new information.
James continued to ask, “Then what’s the use of this Burial Jade?”
The Spirit Tool said, “I’ve heard Emperor Jabari say that the Burial Jade is the key to the tomb. The tomb was also formed
naturally by the world and held the world’s ultimate secret. Of course, these are all still too far away for you.”
“Oh.” James did not really understand everything that was said.
Laelia noticed James was staring blankly while holding the Burial Jade, but she did not disturb him.
After conversing with the Spirit Tool, James came out of his thoughts and handed the jade pendant that was in his hand over to
Laelia. He said, “Princess Laelia, here’s your jade pendant. Keep it safe. Although I have no idea what it actually is, I have a
strong feeling that it’s a magnificent treasure.”
James already knew what this jade pendant was.
Nevertheless, he remained silent.
He wanted to have Burial Jade. However, it was a Targwyn family heirloom. It did not belong to him.
James gave it back to Laelia. At the same time, he was contemplating how to obtain this treasure.
He believed that Laelia could not really make the final decision in this matter. He could only go to the Tabal Empire’s capital,
meet with the Emperor, and try to work out a deal with him to get this Burial Jade.

Laelia nodded her head softly and put away the Burial Jade.
James said nothing else. He sat down on a rock with his legs crossed and closed his eyes to rest.
Laelia, on the other hand, was preoccupied. She was very worried about her family.
When she was fleeing, the capital was already surrounded by cultivators from the Dark Keep. She was worried that something
bad had happened to her family.
Laelia took a quick glance at James and noticed that James seemed relaxed. She wanted to speak, and her throat moved

A guard moved closer to Laelia and said in a lowered voice, “As we were leaving the capital, a large number of the Dark Keep’s

that...”
