The Almighty Dragon General

Chapter 2316
“O-Of course...”
“Thank you for saving our lives.”
The three nodded and turned to leave.
Meanwhile, Henry brought Henry and Delainey back into the underground cavern.
Soon, they arrived at the dungeon.
In the first dungeon, many corpses were laying on the ground. Their blood had been drained.
James arrived at the second dungeon and forced the door open.
“Quintina.” He hurriedly walked toward Quintina and released her seal.
“Why are you here, James?” Quintina stood up and looked at James puzzledly.
James said, “I encountered a few cultivators who were being pursued by a group of men in black robes. They said that the men
in black were capturing everyone, so I hurriedly make my way here. When I arrived, I saw you being imprisoned here.”
James lied as he did not wish to expose his identity.
“This place is heavily guarded by powerful guards. How did you get in?” Quintina looked at James puzzledly.
Stunned, James asked, “What? What do you mean? But I didn’t see anyone on my way here.”
“What?” Quintina was shocked.
“Alright now, stop the chit-chatting already. Hurry up and release my seal,” Yunus said.
Quintina walked over to him and released his seal. Then, Yunus did the same to the other cultivators who were imprisoned.
Soon, everyone left the stone cavern upon being freed.
The Magic Circle and the Demonic Energy had disappeared, and the place had returned to normalcy.

Puzzled, Quintina murmured, “Weird... It’s only been a single day. Why did so many Fangs disappear without a trace? Besides,
why is the Magic Circle here gone?”
Everyone else was confused as well.
However, they could not care less at the moment. After experiencing despair, they no longer cared about the Grand Tournament
and only wanted to leave.
They scrambled to leave Mount Walvern. However, as there was still a time limit, the passage back to the outside world
remained shut. As such, they could not return to the Divinity Sect.
James followed everyone else and left Mount Walvern.
Henry asked, “What should we do next, James?”
James thought about it and said, “The Grand Tournament can’t continue any longer. We’ll see how it goes once we return to the
Divinity Sect.”
“Mhm.” Henry nodded.
After experiencing such a great ordeal, no one was in the mood to exterminate monsters. They had no
idea if there were remnants of the Demon Race’s Fangs out there in Mount Walvern. If they were captured once more and killed,
they would lose everything.
They waited outside Mount Walvern.
James, Henry, and Delainey gathered together. The three were roasting the meat of the monster they previously killed. The
scent of succulent meat permeated the air.
Quintina walked over to them and took a seat beside James. She glanced at him and asked, “By the time you arrived, was there
really no one else there?”
“Yes,” James said while roasting his meat, “After learning that many people have been captured, I began searching around.
Then, I found a cavern where you guys were imprisoned.”

“That couldn’t be...” Quintina was confounded. The Demon Race was cold-blooded and ruthless. Why would they simply walk
away after the initial slaughter?
At that moment, she was reminded of the man with the token. He was the one who saved her life. If not for him, she would have
perished.
“Could that man be the one who chased the Demon Race’s Fangs away?”
Quintina was baffled.
