The Twelfth Universe ushered a new and prosperous era.
Other universes envied their affluence and sent many of their prodigies over in hopes some of the Twelfth Universe’s luck would
rub off on them so they could make great strides in their cultivation.
Unfortunately, these outsiders began to oppress the Twelfth Universe’s denizens. The Twelfth Universe’s own prodigies were
persecuted and bullied with the influx of new visitors.
Henrik wanted to avenge them. Now that James had returned, he wanted to use their combined might to teach the other
universes’ prodigies a lesson.
However, James was uninterested in dealing with these matters.
His main concern was Yukia.
James looked at Henrik and changed the topic. “Did you ever see Yukia again after leaving the Thirteenth Universe?”
Henrik said, “I did.”
“Oh?”
Intrigued, James said, “Tell me more.”
Henrik said, “Every time I see my Grandmaster, I’ve only seen her from behind. I’ve never seen her true appearance before.
Truthfully, I don’t even really know that much about her. If you want to know about her, I’m sure my mentor will know more than
me. Would you like to go visit him?”
“Who’s your mentor?” asked James. He knew Henrik had a powerful master. During the Primeval Age, his mentor brought Henrik
across the Chaos and into the new universe. Taking that into consideration, he must be at least a Caelum Ancestral God.
Moreover, he even managed to escape the scrutiny of the Macrocosm Ancestral Gods, which meant he was definitely an
extremely capable person.
James was curious about Henrik’s master who also was Yukia’s disciple.
Henrik explained. “My master is from the Twelfth Universe. He was also a basic individual from the Twelfth Universe and was
born in the same period as the Five Ancestral Masters. My master isn’t interested in fame and fortune. Thus, he rarely comes out
in public, and very few know of him.
“My master is called the Unmatched Emperor. He was born an Ancestral God. Yukia took him on as her disciple shortly after his
birth. At the time of the conflict during the Primeval Age, my master left the Twelfth Universe and avoided the catastrophe.
Later, he returned to the Twelfth Universe in the Primordial Age and lived in the Demon Realm.”
James asked. “What’s the Unmatched Emperor’s cultivation rank?”
Henrik shook his head slightly and said, “Actually, I don’t know his current cultivation rank. When I became his disciple, he
mentioned that he was at the peak of the Caelum Ancestral God Rank. It’s already been so long, and he has traveled to many
other universes. It’s possible he might already be a Macrocosm Ancestral God.
“However, the Twelfth Universe’s strength was restricted to the Grand Emperor Rank’s Ninth Heaven during the Primordial Age.
On top of that, he never disclosed his true strength to others. That’s why others assume he’s still a Grand Emperor.”
Henrik briefly spoke of the Unmatched Emperor’s background.
James grew interested in the Unmatched Emperor. He stood up and said, “Well, what are we waiting for? Let’s go see him.”
Henrik stood up without hesitation and said, “Alright. Let’s go.”
James left the restaurant and followed Henrik to a spiritual mountain protected by a mysterious formation in the Demon Realm.
As soon as they arrived, James detected the powerful formation.
Although it was a complicated formation, James was now very knowledgeable in formations and could disable it with ease.
Meanwhile, Henrik entered the formation freely. He led James through the formation and up the spiritual mountain. On top of the
mountain were some ordinary-looking buildings. Henrik brought James to a wooden house.
As he stood outside the door, Henrik called out, “Master.”
Creak.
The door slowly opened, and out came an old man.
Surprisingly, the old man had a head of black hair along with a black beard. He wore a black robe and looked spry and full of
energy.
