The First Universe was the first to ever form in the Chaos. They existed for a long time and were supposed to have met to their
end. However, the First Universe’s powerhouses merged the Thirteenth Universe with the First Universe, extending its lifespan,
and enhancing their Heavenly Path’s law.
At that moment, a man was seated in the highest seat inside a certain hall in the First Universe. He wore a plain robe and did not
exude a particularly strong aura, which made him seem like an ordinary human.
Swoosh!
A light flickered before him and formed into a man.
After appearing in the hall, the man immediately spat out a mouthful of blood and fell to the ground. The man sitting in the hall
snapped out of his thoughts. He looked at the person that appeared in the hall in surprise and asked, “What’s wrong? Did
something happen?”
The man that appeared in the hall was none other than Yermolai, whom James injured in the Twelfth Universe. Yermolai’s face
was pale. He withstood the pain from his injuries and stood up from the ground.
“Master, I was injured in the Chaos outside the Twelfth Universe.”
The person sitting in the highest seat was the First Universe’s Lord, also known as the Omnipotent Lord. The Omnipotent Lord
asked doubtfully, “Who dares to injure you? Is there a Macrocosm Ancestral God in the Twelfth Universe that doesn’t know your
name? Even if they don’t know you, did you not tell them I’m your Master?”
Yermolai said truthfully, “I did. If I hadn’t, I might’ve died in the Chaos outside the Twelfth Universe.”
“What exactly happened?” asked the Omnipotent Lord.
Yermolai explained everything in detail.
“Back when I set up a trap to kill James in the Thirteenth Universe, he had a companion named Henrik. I met this man in the
Twelfth Universe. He had already reached the peak of the Caleum Ancestral God Rank and even cultivated ten Paths.
“I wanted to kill Henrik in the Chaos. When I was about to finish him off, a mysterious powerhouse appeared and defeated me in
one blow.”
The Omnipotent Lord asked, “What’s his name?”
Yermolai replied, “He claimed to be called Forty-nine.”
“Forty-nine?”
Puzzled, the Omnipotent Lord murmured, “When did a Macrocosm Ancestral God called Forty-nine exist in the Twelfth
Universe?”
After a while, he asked, “Did he mention which universe he was from?”
Yermolai shook his head and said, “No. He only warned me not to cause trouble in the Twelfth Universe. Otherwise, he would kill
me without any mercy.”
The Omnipotent Lord lightly waved his hand and said, “Alright. I got it. You’re dismissed. Go treat your wounds.”
“Alright.” Yermolai turned and left.
“Forty-nine from the Twelfth Universe? Interesting. I never expected someone from the Twelfth Universe to silently become a
Macrocosm Ancestral God. It seems the Twelfth Universe’s Lord made the right decision. He suppressed the Heavenly Path and
allowed their universe’s luck to accumulate.” The Omnipotent Lord mumbled to himself. Then, he got up and headed toward a
special place in the Twelfth Universe.
