The Almighty Dragon General

A new Super Universe would be born as the twelve universes merged into one, bringing about more providences. James wanted
to become the Lord of the new universe so that he could acquire more providence. Only then he could venture further on the
path of cultivation. However, at his rank, it would be extremely difficult to become the next Lord. Regardless, he wanted to give it
a try. If he failed, so be it.
Seeing that the others were deep in contemplation, James stood up and said, “Please reflect on what I just said. I’m sure I will be
a better Lord than the Omnipotent Lord.”
Then, he stood up and turned to leave.
After he left, Kallinikos and the others were wearing grim expressions.
He looked at Yekaterina and asked, “What do you think?”
Yekaterina contemplated and said, “Forty-nine has a mysterious background, and we don’t know what he’s up to. But, we can
know for sure that he’s a powerful guy. In fact, I couldn’t even see through his rank. We can’t hand the position of the Lord of the
new universe to someone we don’t know about.”
Kallinikos looked at Tomislav.
After some contemplation, Tomislav said, “I think it’s a good thing we now have Forty-nine balancing against the Omnipotent
Lord. Between them, I will opt for Forty-nine.”
“What about Salvatore? What do you think?” Kallinikos looked at the Lord of the Eighth Universe.
Salvatore, however, shook his head and remained silent.
After James left, he returned to his accommodation. Immediately, Quanesha appeared.
“Where did you go?”
James sat down and said, “I went for a stroll and encountered the Lord of the Ninth Universe.”
Quanesha sat beside him.
James glanced at her and asked, “What do you think my chances are if I compete for the position of the Lord of the new
universe?”

Quanesha froze. She never expected Forty-nine to be interested in becoming the new Lord. After some contemplation, she
shook her head and said, “Negligible, perhaps. The Omnipotent Lord has prepared for a very long time, and he is determined to
seize the position. Besides, the Macrocosm Ancestral Gods of the First Universe support him in his endeavor. Putting his
strength aside for now, his supporter, Mirabelle Joandra possesses terrifying strength. She’s an Eight-Power Macrocosm
Ancestral God. She alone can overwhelm all other Macrocosm Ancestral Gods of the other universes.”
James rubbed his temples and asked, “What do you think I need to do to compete?”
Quanesha contemplated briefly before saying, “The universes after the Eighth Universe are insignificant in general. Even the
Lords are Four to Five-Power Macrocosm Ancestral Gods. The Second Universe is second only to the First Universe. If you wish
to become the new Lord, you just need to gain the support of the Second, Third, Fourth, and Fifth Universes. Their combined
power will give the First Universe some serious headaches.”
Quanesha provided her opinion.
She continued, “But that’s not possible. Longinus Klopas, the Lord of the Second Universe, is a ruthless man. Nicknamed the
Ancestral Void Master, he possesses terrifying strength and is comparable to Mirabelle. He should have his position on the
matter. It would be impossible to gain his support.”
Hearing this, James fell into deep contemplation. It appeared that becoming the Lord of the new universe was nigh impossible.
Even so, he had to acquire enough benefits and providence. Only then could he carve a new path from his dead-end road.
“Will you support me?” James suddenly asked.
Quanesha froze before saying smilingly, “Of course I will. But I’m just a One-Power Macrocosm Ancestral God. I won’t even have
the right to speak at the coming conference. I don’t think I can be of any use to you.”
James smiled and said nothing. At that moment, he was beginning to miss Thea. If Thea had not reincarnated, she would surely
have become a powerful figure. With her by his side, he could overcome all odds.
