The Almighty Dragon General

A smile formed on the man’s face. Then, he said, “Of course, I have a lot of information about them. However, can you afford to
pay for it?”
James immediately summoned a few rare treasures and pushed them to the man without hesitation.
“Is this enough?” asked James.
“A Celestial Averile?!” the man exclaimed, evidently intrigued by one of the materials. His carefree attitude immediately vanished,
and he said respectfully, Tm Xoel Marblemaw, the person in charge of the Heavenly Secrets Pavilion in the Flammaes’ territory.
May I ask for your names?”
James replied, “I’m Forty-nine. This is my senior, Qiya.” “Oh, so you’re Forty-nine?” Xoel scanned James and said,” You’re the
person who won countless cultivation resources from the Yefteros’ arena some time ago, right? It’s a pleasure to meet you in
person.”
As the person in charge of the Heavenly Secrets Pavilion in the Flammaes’ territory, it was only natural that Xoel had heard
about Forty-nine. He also knew Forty-nine was from the Central Plane and was an elder at the Dieux Academy.
“Yeah.” James nodded lightly.
Xoel said with a smile, ‘You’re trying to gain information about the Flammaes because of the Taeytons, right?”
James looked at him and asked, “Do the two have some kind of grudge against each other?”
“Hold on. I’ll go retrieve the information.”
After speaking, Xoel left the hall. A few moments later, he returned with an ancient scroll. He rolled the scroll open and said,
“Many years ago, before Latrusse became the Taeytons ‘ leader, he had gone on an adventure. While wandering the wild, he
met with the Flammae’s Saintess. The two fell in love and became partners.
“Unfortunately, their relationship was discovered by the Flammae, and she was forcibly brought back. The Flammae have a rule
that their Saintess must remain a virgin.
However, she broke the rule and was detained in their forbidden area.”
Xoel briefly explained the series of events.

“After the Flammae’s Saintess was detained, Lactrusse worked hard to become the Taeytons’ Leader. He visited the Flammae
many times, wanting to save his lover. However, his request was always met with rejection.
“Eventually, the Flammae made a condition for him to take their Saintess. They agreed to stop interfering with their relationship if
he can break into their holy site and leave with her.”
“I see,” James replied.
Xoel continued, saying, “The Heavenly Secrets Pavilion knows Latrusse had been searching the Glacies’ ruins to find the Ice
Sword, which can suppress the Flammae. His whereabouts have been unknown after he appeared with you at the Yefteros’
territory.”
He told him everything the Heavenly Secrets Pavilion knew about Latrusse.
Then, he looked at James and asked, “What else do you want to know?”
James replied, “I want to know about the Flammae’s situation. Has Latrusse shown up in the Flammaes’ territory yet?”
Xoel replied, “There’s not much movement in the Flammae’s territory right now, so he probably hasn’t come yet. Speaking of
which...”
Suddenly, Xoel asked, “You were with Latrusse, right? Did he get the Ice Sword yet? From our intel, we know the Ice Sword is
with the Glacies’ princess.
However, the princess’s whereabouts are unknown. We learned she had appeared in the Glaciem Holy Land very recently.
“She was accompanied by a man who claimed to be a disciple of Theognostos.
He fought with a few of the powerhouses of the Four Ancient Race, including the Yefteros’ Saint.
“Some time ago, you had two powerhouses at the Holy Celestial Rank accompanying you, right? Was Latrusse one of them? Did
you have anything to do with the incident at the Glaciem Holy Land?”
Xoel looked at James, waiting for his answer.
The Heavenly Secrets Pavilion’s intelligence network was indeed terrifying. With just a few clues, they managed to connect the
dots. They suspected the incident at the Glaciem Holy Land was related to James because Latrusse was trying to find the Ice

Sword. On top of that, James had two powerhouses at the Holy Celestial Rank accompanying him. After putting two and two
together, they hit the nail right on the head.
If the Heavenly Secrets Pavilion could have made such a guess, it was only natural the Yefteros had the same suspicion.
However, nobody could be sure.
James replied calmly, ‘What does it have to do with me? I parted with them a long time ago.”
