The Almighty Dragon General

James explained the relationship between the fire and ice elements, leaving out details about the other elements.
He was worried Yered would be searching for the other primitive inscriptions of the other Elemental Primevals after mastering the
principles.
Then, he would be able to perform a complete Elemental Inversion.
An inversion with the Dark World’s Primitive Elemental Powers would be much stronger than the elements from the outside
planes.
Yered had a rough understanding after James’ explanation but was still confused.
“1 think I understand, but not really.
The principles seem simple but are hard to achieve.
I must try it first and figure out how it works.” James said, “You don’t need me anymore, right? If so, I’ll take my leave first.
I have other things to do.” Yered replied, “Yeah, I’ll be fine.
But before you leave, could you cast the Ice Curse and Flammae Curse simultaneously for me? I’d like to see what it looks like
to be cast together.” “Alright.” James leaped into the air and floated to a safe distance.
He hovered in the air and raised his hands.
The Glacies’ primitive inscriptions appeared in his left hand, and the Flammae’s primitive inscriptions on his right.
Magical inscriptions kept transforming and eventually reached their ultimate forms.
Then, two bursts of powerful forces were born.
“Fuse.” James moved the two forces together, and they gradually merged into one.
Although the powers naturally repelled each other, they were also mutually dependent.
As a result, a new power formed when they met.
After a while, James dispersed his powers.

He descended from the sky, looked at Yered, and asked, “Do you get it now?” Yered’s brows furrowed.
He dismissed his thoughts and casually waved his hand.
An inscription appeared before him and floated toward James.
“Take it.
If you ever need me, use it to contact me.
I doubt you’ll need help from me anytime soon.
By the time you need me, I'll probably have already understood the Ice Curse and neutralized the Flammae poison in my body.
I might even have entered the Quasi Bliss Rank.” James put away the inscription and said, “You should be careful.
I heard the Quasi Bliss Rank is strange.
To reach that rank, you'll have to give up everything.
Although you gain great strength, you’ ll be like the Heavenly Path, without feelings.” “Thank you.
I’ll keep it in mind.” After leaving the reminder, James left the area.
Haleth had been waiting outside for James.
Although he was not inside the holy site, he could sense everything happening.
He smiled at James and said, “You're amazing, young man.
I’m surprised you comprehended our primitive inscriptions and cultivated the Flammae Curse so fast.” “You're flattering me,”
James replied humbly.
Suddenly, he remembered something and asked, “How is Latrusse doing?” Haleth’s smile disappeared and was replaced with
solemness.
He waved his hand, and a picture emerged before them.
Latrusse could be seen trapped within a mysterious Fire Formation.

“Although he has the Ice Sword, he can’t restrain us.
He is trapped inside a Heavenly Flame Formation.
He’s strong, so the formation can't kill him.
However, he won’t be able to go anywhere if he can’t break the formation.” James said hesitantly, “Can’t you guys go easy on
them? I’ve heard the story about him and the Flammae’s Saintess.
They are genuinely in love.” Haleth snorted, “We're already going easy.
If not, we wouldn’t even let him have the chance to go through the trials.
Our Saintess isn’t allowed to have a partner.
It’s a rule established since ancient times, and nobody can break it.”
