Xayvion offered benefits to the other races, hoping they would dispatch all their forces.
The powerhouses began to discuss in hushed voices.
“The Yefteros must have a deep hatred for James and are desperate to destroy him.”
‘The primitive inscriptions James possesses are valuable. It’s quite a fair deal.”
“It seems I’ll have to request my Grand Patriarch to participate in this operation.”
The powerhouses expressed their opinions.
James hid amongst the crowd, paying attention to the meeting. He never expected the Yefteros to announce to give up the loot.
The benefits were tempting enough for all of these races to take action. Even if they were unwilling, they wanted to avoid
offending the Yefteros. Otherwise, the Yefteros would want their revenge in the future.
The other races were more willing to participate now that the Yefteros were letting go of the benefits.
Talvelai’s expression became solemn, not expecting the Yefteros to be so generous.
Xayvion hovered in the void and said, “We need a commander for this operation. Who does everyone think is suitable for the
role?”
“Commander?”
‘Who’s suitable?”
“Hmm...”
The powerhouses began communicating amongst themselves.
From their perspective, someone from the Yefteros should be the commander.
However, it was evident the Yefteros were trying to avoid the role. Everyone was puzzled, wondering what the Yefteros were up
to.
They forfeited the benefits and were now giving up their position as commanders.
Their actions were quite abnormal.
Xayvion looked at Talvelai and said, “I think Talvelai from the Mevryees is a good fit.”
‘What do you think, Talvelai?”
Talvelai was surprised that Yefteros suggested he take on the position of commander. He knew the Yefteros were up to no good.
It was likely the Yefteros wanted to avoid losing their powerhouses, so they did not want to fight in the forefront.
“Haha,” Talvelai chuckled and said, “I’m nobody special. Who am I to take on the role? Let someone else do it.
Regardless of who leads the operation, the Mevryees will give full support.”
Xayvion looked at the Suuntelis and said smilingly, “If I remember correctly, the Suuntelis’ Grand Patriarch is still alive. In the
past strife, he was already a peerless powerhouse. He must’ve reached great heights in his cultivation. How about the Suuntelis
lead this operation?”
James hid amongst the crowd and watched the meeting take place.
After understanding the overall situation, James left. He wanted to head back and prepare for the war.
The Dark World would be attacking with full force, planning to obliterate him and seize control over the Central Plane.
He was unclear about how many hidden powerhouses were at the Quasi Bliss Rank in the Dark World.
The battle was going to be intense.
After the meeting was over, the different powerhouses dispersed. They returned to their headquarters and assembled
powerhouses to prepare for the attack on the Central Plane.
Shortly after James left, Talvelai met with him somewhere in a dark zone.
