The Almighty Dragon General

A voice with a chilling tone reverberated through the space.
James and Hershya turned their heads and glanced around them.
In a flash, over a hundred cultivators had materialized and surrounded the pair.
Those men were wearing black masks and black, long robes.
Their masks were made of special materials that made them completely impenetrable with Zen.
“These men are quite strong. You need to be careful.” Hershya detected the aura of those men surrounding them and quickly
reminded James.
James had also released his Zen and sensed that those cultivators had reached the Transcendental Bliss Rank.
“Has there always been this many Transcendental Bliss Rank cultivators in this era?” James furrowed his brows.
He had learned quite a few things about this world after living in this era for quite some time.
One of them was that those at the Transcendental Bliss Rank were considered elite cultivators at this time. Only one or two of
these cultivators could be found in powerful, established groups and organizations.
However, James was seeing at least a hundred Transcendental Bliss Rank cultivators before his eyes at the moment.
“Who are these people?” Hershya cast a glance in James’ direction.
James shrugged. “How would I know?” “Aren’t they after you?” “I thought they were after you!”
The two of them discussed in hushed voices as they were surrounded by those men.
“Are they from the Morro Sect?” James pondered aloud.
As Hershya observed those men a little longer, she seemed to notice something peculiar. “There’s something strange about their
aura...” “Is that so? What have you noticed about their aura?” James asked.
Hershya said, “It seems these men haven’t truly achieved the level of the Transcendental Bliss Rank. They’ve probably used
some sort of secret art to elevate their auras. Even though they are emanating auras of the Transcendental Bliss Rank, these
men haven’t exactly acquired powers of that level.” “Let’s just kill these men and get this over with.”

James conjured the Supremusse Sword and looked at the men around them.
Just then, everyone could sense a wave of overwhelming aura coming from a distance.
Those masked men in black robes got down on one knee and chanted in unison, “All hail the Lord!”
Somewhere several hundred meters away, a man appeared and strode toward the crowd. As soon as he saw that man’s face,
James furrowed his brows.
“James Caden... I’ve been waiting a long time for you to show up.”
Xayvion kept his hands on his back as he stopped a few steps away from the group of them. An enigmatic smile hung on his
face.
“The fifth stage of Transcendental Bliss Rank.” Hershya swiftly detected Xayvion’s cultivation rank. “I can sense a dangerous
aura from that man.”
“Xayvion Yeftero...”
The frown on James’ forehead grew deeper.
He did not expect to see Xayvion advance into the fifth stage of the Transcendental Bliss Rank, which was also the same stage
Hershya was in, in merely a few entrapochs’ time.
Moreover, James knew Hershya was no match for Xayvion.
With the protection of the Obsidian Body, Xayvion was practically invincible against any attacks of signature skills or secret arts.
Only attacks of pure force produced from the physical body could cause actual harm to Xayvion.
However, Hershya’s physical strength had yet to reach the fifth stage of the Transcendental Bliss Rank.
“How disappointing... I thought you would have made great progress in your training and cultivation since the last time we met.
Yet, you are still in the Quasi Transcendental Bliss Rank now.”
Xayvion had a look of disapproval in his eyes.
“You’re the founder of Morro Sect?” James asked.

“I’m afraid you’ll never learn the answer to that.” Xayvion fixed him with an unfeeling gaze. It was clear he had no intention of
answering that.
